Did not find a more appropriate thread to put it. An interesting info about Russian scientist and his investigations on thoughts. Turned out to be a dangerous topic...
"The materiality of thought is not only images on film.
This is a force that is subject to many things. Material thought is a weapon and a power."
Gennady Krokhalyov.
In 1973, Gernady Krokhalev attempted to photograph visual hallucinations in patients with alcoholic psychosis, occurring in the form of hallucinatory clouding of consciousness. His research attracted the attention of scientists in Japan, Germany, Italy, the USA and in a number of other countries. Dozens of articles are devoted to G. P. Krokhalev and his ideas. Six documentaries were made. Under circumstances that were not fully explained, he committed suicide in April 1998.
Krokhalyov publicly insisted on the reality of the process of reverse transmission of visual information from the retina into space.
This hypothesis was easily perceived: if information goes from the retina to the brain, forming the pictures of the world we observe, why would there not be a "feedback"?..
The doctor not only tried to prove the correctness of the hypothesis, but also stated: "Thought is material!"
Krokhalyov began conducting research in the early 70s. And in 1974 he invented the "Krokhalev mask".
- The device allowed photographing other people's thoughts, the discovery was a real breakthrough in the world of science - the materiality of thought was proved for the first time.
The experiment went like this:
Gennady Pavlovich looked at the woman's photo for 20-30 seconds, then turned off the light. The contours of a woman's face appeared in the dark! The researcher projected the image with his eyes onto the photographic film. After the development, the image of a woman's face was clearly visible on the film, albeit fuzzy.
- It is very simple to make a "Krokhalev mask", - the scientist himself said. - You just need to attach a photographic accordion fur and a camera to a regular diving mask, and insert a sheet of photographic film instead of glasses (X-rays are taken on it). Next, it's up to you. Put the focus on infinity, set the shutter speed for 2-3 seconds - and you can safely take pictures of thoughts.
Gennady Krokhalev's sensational article "Photographing mental images" was published in Japan back in 1977. And almost immediately classified. It was rumored that a powerful psychotropic weapon was created abroad based on the research of a Soviet psychiatrist.
After the publication of this article, Gennady Krokhalyov was invited to foreign scientific conferences, but the scientist was not given permission to leave the country.
At the end of his life, Krokhalyov was full of plans. He told his relatives that he had the results of hundreds of studies confirming the impact of psychic energy on reality. By psychic energy, the scientist meant attention. And where a person directs his attention at a certain angle, that's what happens in his life, said Gennady Krokhalyov.
The scientist claimed that he was on the verge of discovery. He had no doubt that it would bring him the Nobel Prize. Exactly what discovery Gennady Krokhalyov intended to shock the scientific community has remained a mystery…
In the spring of 1991, Krokhalev received a call from Moscow and was asked to send the results of his experiments.
- Your laboratory will be allocated several million rubles, - they promised the scientist.
The psychiatrist immediately sent the documents, but did not receive the money. The materials also disappeared into the water. And in April 1998, Gennady Krokhalyov unexpectedly committed suicide for everyone - at the very peak of his activity.
The death of Gennady Krokhalyov, as well as his research, leaves more questions than answers. Did the scientist die voluntarily or was he "helped" by employees of secret intelligence services? Maybe because the paranormal world has long been studied in the laboratories of the FSB, and Krokhalyov crossed the line, beyond which mere mortals are strictly forbidden?
Besides, the daughter of Gennady Pavlovich claims that on the eve of her father's death, he often said that he was on the verge of a discovery that would turn the world upside down.
Gennady Krokhalyov's brother believes that the researcher was ruined by attempts to penetrate the "forbidden dimension": maybe the creatures that the scientist managed to capture on film decided to take revenge on a too curious doctor?
At the time of his death, Gennady Krokhalyov was only 57 years old.
The family of Gennady Krokhalyov still does not abandon attempts to investigate the death of the scientist. After all, Krokhalyov's brother spoke to him on the phone just two hours before his death: Gennady was cheerful and full of energy, shared plans for further research. And the daughter of the deceased claims that the time of death, which was recorded for something by Gennady Krokhalyov, was not recorded by his hand.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to conduct an independent study: unknown people threatened the scientist's family, saying that if you dig around, you will go after the deceased.
Also, Gennady Krokhalyov's brother refused to continue his research. He believes that it is not worth touching on a topic that can be dangerous for all mankind.
Books about his discovery are practically unavailable, and all the materials have disappeared in Moscow laboratories.
