I haven't finished reading it all but here seems to be a pretty objective look at the theory of a 'switching':

I'm including this link as evidence for the theory that there was a deliberate sinking and cover up. The originator of this thread is clearly an expert and provides plenty of evidence to back that up. He says that in his opinion there is a strong chance that the theory is correct. I'm going with the weight of the evidence at this point--it was deliberate. It's a question that I'd love to ask the C's--just for curiosity's sake and a better understanding of our current history based on the myth's and lies of past history and a clearer understanding of how the "game is played." My current understanding of the "falsehood" of history and the reality of psychopathology is part of the weight of evidence leaning towards the theory.

It's a bit of a shady docu sometimes, and a lot of it reeks of damage control, for instance some of the commentators are I think a bit too much and their reasoning seems off, but it contains some interesting stuff, like that mug shots were taken of every surviving crew member. Lots of interesting "stories from granddad who worked building the ship" and the like. I think there's quite a lot of disinfo there as well, so beware and keep your thinking hat on ;-)
