To your good health!

Just caught this on Yahoo and thought to share the link.

http://www.bobsredmill.com/esop.html

This man, Bob, of Bob's red mill, just gave his company to his employee's. Considered putting the link in under the Diet and Health part of the forum as these people sell grains, beans and seeds, but I'm not familiar with the products. I just thought, wow, that's really cool! There was a video about it on the yahoo main page and the guy looks like he is at/around retirement age (65 at this point in the US). Turns out the man is 81 and really looks like he's getting around well.

Not really recommending or not the Bob's Red Mill product, just got warm hearted hearing of this mans generosity. Looking at the gluten free department there looks like some goodies to order as well.. Salutations!

Yeah, Bob's Red Mill is a fairly popular brand of flours and such. I even see it being sold in regular stores now.

Interesting that he would hand over the company to the employees. You don't hear about something like this at all.

Wow that's really neat. Thanks for sharing Balberon :)

I use Bob's Red Mill for all my buckwheat, brown rice flour, hemp protein, flax seeds, etc... They make a really good product and clearly label their ingredients and manufacturing process.

I'm making pancakes this morning using their gluten-free mix -- I have a bread mix and pizza-dough mix waiting to be made as well at some point. Thanks, Balberon -- I agree that this story is very cool :)

Sounds like a real STO kind of guy! That motivates me to support that brand even if pricey in comparison to others.

A gift in hard times: Bob's Red Mill goes to its employees

We might have missed this important story. Bob retires and gives his company to his dedicated employees!! I love it!

It was discussed here - http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=16333.msg139873#msg139873 (I'll merge the threads).

Logos5x5 and myself found a place online that sells this brand, although it says on its label that is "manufactured in a facility that also uses tree nuts, soy, wheat and milk" have any of you guys had any problems using it?
