Today so far 4 earthquakes in Taiwan

Hi Everybody,

Today has been a busy day for earthquakes here in Taiwan, so far we have had four. They were all centered of the north-east coast at Ilan County.

1. 9.42 am - 6.3
2. 19.20 pm - 5.5
3. 19.45 pm - 5.8
4. 20.02 pm 5.7

Damage reported so far is a fire somewhere in Taipei and also a multi-level car park where 4 car sustained damages when one slipped of its platform.

Thanks for bringing this up, Causal Wanderer. I'm glad you weren't hurt. It's good that there weren't more fatalities from the quakes. The Ring of Fire has been very active lately; I have a feeling that another 9.0 quake will strike within the next month or two. I'm dreading the thought that, if it were to hit the United States, it could cause the Long Valley Caldera or Yellowstone to erupt, which, as was mentioned on The Truth Perspective, would be civilization-ending in magnitude.

Hello Causal Wanderer, glad you are OK. Those were decent sized shocks.
I was just checking your locality and noted that Taipei is almost diametrically opposite Bolivia on the globe, and that is also a seismically active location.
It will be interesting to watch what's happening over there, too.

Calbuco volcano in Chile has begun to erupt, and that is near Bolivia.
Right on the other side of the planet from Taipei.
The planet is ringing like a bell!
