Not really sure where else to post this since it isn't something necessarily funny, but here it goes. This is a traditional Russian dance performed by the Berezka Ensemble. I found it amazing how these dancers just seem to float, or glide across the stage, which gives this particular step its name: floating step.

Hey G,

That was a general link to the site. Was the link below the one you were viewing?

Haha Segways :lol: Thanks G & truth seeker. Their faces were a little scary for a few seconds.

Hi everyone. I would like to share with you a couple of more videos performed by the same dance group Beryozka:

_http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnku0eyfuzs It's the same dance as in the video posted by Gertrudes, only the setting is more natural and the faces are not so scary, osit :) ( it's from an old Soviet movie);

_http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jawKoLZbtkc&feature=endscreen same dance group, the dance title Sudarushka (endearing word for word "Madame");

_http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KZMPgJ3IoM dance title Tsepochka (small chain)

This is a very old type of dance – a round (circle) dance, and it's called horovod in Russian. It's usually performed only by women and young girls.
