Transformative Health Event

Thanks for all your good wishes. My surgery got bumped a few days, but all went well when I had it. At follow up, my urologist said I would probably never have another one, just always drink a lot of water and limit unusual oxalate loads.
I slowly eased back into work. Down to one job instead of 4, taking things gradually.
Well, here we go again...
Monday, intense Right lower quadrant pain, building as soon as I got home from work. I was sure it was appendicitis. This time I did not wait long to go to ER.
It was another renal stone. CT showed I've got a bunch of stuff in my kidneys.
I passed the stone this week. It was small.
I wonder what could have changed.
Need to follow up with my urologist.

Years ago I went to an accupuncturist who always mentioned the heat in my kidneys.
Any ideas? I am open.
