Transfusion of young blood to reverse the aging process

The Living Force
This Ted talk was brought to my attention;

http://ideas.ted.com/what-are-the-ethics-of-using-young-blood-to-reverse-the-effects-of-aging/?utm_campaign=social&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_content=ideas-blog&utm_term=science

Made me wonder whether the whole "virgin sacrifice" practice that was once a central part of many cultures may have had a practical use for someone / something.
Where "virgin" is synonymous with "very young".
Perhaps in some circles on earth at the moment the practice is ongoing.
This also reminds me of remarks by the Cs about bathing in plasma as a form of nourishment.
(Purportedly a 4th density STS practice).

I've even heard (in the past) that certain world leaders receive transfusions of young blood on a regular basis, but am not sure whether these are just rumors or something that actually takes place.. ?

Interesting talk, but totally crazy scheme.

Good way to expose your body to heaps of critters, viruses and foreign DNA. When there are known treatments to improve neurodegenerative diseases, like the keto diet and eradicating bugs. But I guess it's a "win-win": Big Pharma invents something that can be flogged for a high price thus making gazillions in the process, and the populace wants a "pill" so they don't have to change their life-style.

Not something I'd be wanting to try anytime soon.

Oh, me neither !
It is certainly not something I would advise anyone to try.

These were just a few things that seemed correlated to me.
The vampire myth, virgin sacrifice, holy blood, etc'.
I was wondering whether or not there could be truth to the rumor that the practice of tranfusing blood from young people is carried out by higher ups .. Not something you'd readily find an answer to on google, I'd imagine ?

Perhaps this comment by C's in the transcripts has relevance:

"Body fluids are holders of life force and awareness."

From my chigong & neigong practices, I knew and understood the life force part. But their inclusion of the awareness part surprised me. And really opened my eyes ... given how they've defined the centrality of awareness.

FWIW.

In my thinking, blood, organs and tissues are created solely for the service of their natural host. I'm not saying I'm against transplants or transfusions. I just wonder and wish to avoid for myself. There is something in Holy Bible about shed blood crying out for the truth. I could tell you stories...

Casual/anecdotal observation:
Political and business leaders tend to look pretty bad as they age. Maybe the real personality coming through? The face you deserve is the face you get?
OTOH, top ranking military leaders look surprisingly good as they age. Anyone else noticed this?

Yes. It is surprising, and in the context here it's also interesting that in some vampire legends the memories of the victim being drained are passed onto the vampire as well, not just the physical substance, but something of their "awareness". Regardless of vampires existing or not.. There is always much to learn from myths and narrative.

It has been shown that meditation affects genetics, turning genes off and on. There's no reason to rule out that as the quality of awareness changes in individuals so do specific changes in their blood appear as well..

At any rate, blood can be seen to be a very special component of the physical being, being the fluid that circulates around and touches all points (organs, tissues, musculature etc'). Perhaps the very fact of it circulating constantly creates a bond between the blood of the being and the being itself on an ultra-physical level ?
Our blood might be a representation of us on more than the physical plane alone. (Fun for materialists !)

Actually, I hadn't noticed that exact observation until you mentioned it, but there does seem to be something there. Whether it's because certain individuals who have genetic similarities fall into similar positions in society or not is uncertain. Or at least the extent to which this explains the phenomenon you've suggested.

I remember Sott posting an article about the transferring of genes during sexual intercourse (how you really do take a piece of someone during sex), and how those genes can stay with you for years! ( I don't remember what's it called but if anyone wants to read it I'll link it.)

The reason I mention that is, it made me think about how easily our physicality can be altered; like in cases of rape, where psychopathic genes are passed to the victim. Makes you wonder on how many levels is a rape victim really affected, and to know how having someone's else genes affects you is uncertain.

I've always thought of psychopaths as parasites in a sense: as above so below!

BUT as you may know, gene expression and alterations is a big topic here on the forum for good reason, and if genes can be passed during sex, I can assume the same with blood transfusion.

I would never EVER recommend take blood transfusion so lightly.

Regarding what transientP said, it could be possible that you can 'take' someone else's karmic experience, or bring yourself to re-experience a karmic experience if you 'exchange' genes; perhaps their genes can alter yours? I'm not sure, I'm just sort of speculating, but it would be interesting if these legends have some truth to them. (As they sometimes do, just not always in the literal sense)
