Thought I would add a little something from the early morning at the beach I call home.

Someone in Romania decided to build this fairy tail house. I have no idea if the builder adhered to traditional building styles here and there. Maybe they build like this in the region. Although I've never seen it before. I think it's pretty cool.

Three beautiful buildings that look like they belong in a fairy tale/fantasy world.

Château d’Ussé

The Château d’Ussé has been the family home of the Duke of Blacas for the last couple of centuries. The Chateau Usse, however, dates back even further. Built as a fortress around 1000 AD, Château d’Ussé was gradually remodelled and enlarged until you have the romantic Renaissance castle you see today.

The Hadlow Tower

This enchanting tower looks like something straight out of Sleeping Beauty. The Grade I-listed folly is said to be the tallest of its kind in the world and has been recently renovated to include a lovely home, so you can live out a modern day fairy tale.

Sagrada FamĂlia

The Basílica de la Sagrada Família, also known as the Sagrada Família, is a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by Spanish/Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926).

Thank you bjorn for posting all those beautiful pictures!

Just a few comments about the Sagrada Familia though:
I've never visited the place, but I've looked at some pictures. The one posted above makes it look like it comes from a fairytale, but when you look more closely, you kind of wonder from what sort of "fairytale" the artist(s) conjured it up. There's something really disturbing, bizarre and creepy about it. The interiors are impressive, but it doesn't feel right. It feels "alien" / not human, and somewhat nightmarish. Definitely not Christian. (This is my gut feeling anyway):

This review from someone who did visit the place (though not the interior, apparently) sums up my impression when looking at the pics:

I have nightmares about this place! Maybe that's what they said about Picasso, but I do have have the ability/sensiblility to appreciate this monstrosity. I feel sorry for the people who have to see it every day. I felt that if i went inside, i would go insane.
Indeed.

Objectively, even the facade is ugly, grotesque and disharmonious, like a big heap of mud:
