As for me, I can accept the official cause of death because no reason to believe or suspect otherwise right now, thus no interest in asking the question of anyone else. My view on any mystery clouding any facts around his passing is rather mundane: he seemed driven to attain high levels of control over his body and mastery in his art. It would have been counter-productive to his media image for the public to think he was being beaten from within, because after all, he was a 'superman' of sorts.
He might have not even wanted to know if he had any really serious or permanent condition that would eventually deteriorate his health and abilities or become fatal. And, if he did know, he might not have been too concerned about it:
"Like everyone else you want to learn the way to win, but never to accept the way to lose — to accept defeat. To learn to die is to be liberated from it. So when tomorrow comes you must free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying!" ~Bruce Lee

...which might be consistent with Gurdjieff's "last hour of life" deal.
At any rate, wisdom and love seem inseparable and judging by quotes attributed to him as well as pictures and video of him in daily life, he embodied wisdom he gained from others and had his own as well and certainly seemed to have love for others.
