Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

I see them as kind of like sheep or cattle. They're VERY easy to program and vector into following certain behaviours and believing certain things/ideas. I don't want to be mean about them, but it's almost as if they actually WANT to be treated like livestock and that this is their ideal! They are the types that fall for propaganda very easily and never think that those in charge would ever lie to them... or be wrong about anything. Maybe they can be more easily described as OPs?

So, I suppose our "overlords" aren't really concerned about people like that (unless they want a crowd for a photo opp - "see here, this is what you should be doing" type of thing). They are more likely to be concerned when there is REAL anger and protest, or when people gather to learn something new and challenge ideas. Those are the people who can't be easily controlled. Something tells me they won't be too concerned by a herd of sheep running around asking for directions about "what they should do"....
Thats a good description. I don't want to be to harsh on these people. Maybe in other parts of their lives they have a better understanding of things and aren't completely clueless. I don't want to confine a person to a certain box and say thats all they are. But really, there probably isn't much depth there in other areas as well.

OP's and authoritarian followers are good and helpful descriptions especially op's. It's the natural order of evolution. Earth is a school and we're all here to learn lessons. I've thought the same for most of my life and I'm a dedicated student. A significant part of my education has focused on what is the dark, there are many layers to that here. I don't think we've reached the bottom of that rabbit hole yet. Being the dark overlords have ruled here for so long its a good place for that :-(. BUT, its the light which is the most important part and the destination.

Light=Knowledge=Love

What has gotten into me...I do ramble on!

The only thing I've noticed about the government shut down for weeks is the sky here has been exquisitely beautiful. Clear blue skies and amazing white, fluffy clouds. Gorgeous sunsets. I got my camera out to take pictures, just amazing. How our sky should be and for the health of all life, Mother Nature is happy! Not the usual streaked skies turning into a white film. And now the EPA is talking about the issue.

There are a few accounts on X saying the US is sending B1B to Venezuela. I live near one of the two bases that use the B1B and I’ve been hearing jet engines flying over since morning, which is very unusual.

THE DANGERS OF THE LAST VEIL.

BRICS countries willing to face US army and navy in the Caribbean

It seems that president of the United States, government, in partnership with ambitious businessmen who like the media show want to open, to start the show of THE DANCE OF THE 7 VEILS OF SALOME.

They may regret the shock of seeing Salome remove the last veil and see her completely naked.

Federal workers line up for food assistance as shutdown enters third week

+With the shutdown in its third week, many federal workers missed payday and are turning to food banks for help.
+The Capital Area Food Bank and local groups like Urban Outreach and United Community are hosting weekly food distributions in D.C. and Alexandria.
+The crisis is affecting not only workers but also small businesses and contractors dependent on federal spending.

Food distributions are now happening weekly at Urban Outreach in Southeast D.C. and United Community in Alexandria, every Friday until the shutdown ends, in Hyattsville *Healthy Fresh Meals* Those who need it can sign up to receive three to five meals per delivery

“I have never been in this situation before. I served in the military for 21 years and have been a federal government employee for the last two. I joined for the stability, but that stability, that secure ground, has been taken away from us.”

Republicans in the Senate can stop the shut down but aren't doing it. Why? Helping the Dems or hurting them?

This woman is insufferable, the Marxist communist rep from the state of Washington. :barf:The Dems shut down the government and now they blame it on the Republicans, their twisted tactics at work. Give me a break, if 42 million starve its a good day in their book.

From the report above and from what you posted, seems that the only ones that are being hurt (no job, no income) are the lowest in the pyramid.

What are both playing ?
I have a feeling this may not last much longer. It won't be allowed to turn into civil unrest with food riots, instigated by leftists. The majority of people receiving SNAP food cards are Democrates! It was helpful this wasn't stopped by the Senate right away. It allowed POTUS to make necessary cuts in personnel and funding, plus he was able to position more of his people as the Dems where holding this back. A Win!!!!!! But no riots! The food comes through. Only guessing!

>Take away peoples EBT
>People get desperate
>People commit crime
>More rights are stripped, more control measures are implemented.

One of many ways it could go.

I'm on the fence about this one, because on one hand, as someone who has to work for a living (im not American), I can't stand seeing how many lazy people are just abusing the systems in place, there is a ton of actual parasitism going on.. on the other hand, the systems in place are an absolute joke and "work" is just another form of control to make some SOB rich in most cases. The tax dollars aren't going to be going to honest workers, even if EBT does stop, anyways.

I think this is one of the issues with the "right", or MAGA, or whatever you want to call it. It's one thing to understand people acting like parasites, and it's another to actually empathize with how brutally difficult some peoples situations are. I have been near homeless a few times in my life before and climbing out of that hole wasn't easy, and I am an able bodied man who can do hard labour 12 hours a day. The reality is the system works because there are people who are poor who can be exploited, it isn't necessarily that these people couldn't or don't want to help themselves. A lot of generalizations but I do try to look at it from both sides.

The bottom line though, is being dependent on the government is not a good place to be, regardless of any moral argument around the subject. The fact that so many people have become entirely entrenched in handouts gives the government a really strong advantage in dealing with the situation. Any illegals should be removed from the program.

If it actually happens I think there's going to be a pretty big reaction to it. Starvation is quite the kindling.

From what I can see I still think that one of Trumps main if not primarily concerns is “making America great again“ and that largely includes to make it a better place for ordinary Americans. From that perspective it is somewhat understandable that Trump views much if not all things “as correct actions“ that other peoples and states in other countries justifiably and rightfully view as unfair and also often infused with little to no regard to what consequences it has for them/others.

That IMO is partially because I do think that Trump is very ignorant about many things while having basically a good heart but also a somewhat strong inherited narcissistic and exceptional view not only about America itself but about himself as well.

So given that, I would hope for quite a bit more "looking beyond one's own horizons" at least from a sizable portion of his base/supporters inland who rightfully like and cheer for what he is doing or tries to do for them inland. And simply regularly tell Trump and his team that certain things just are not acceptable and that not all and everything should be selfishly done for American/-s with little to no regard or awareness of the rest of the world that has also rights and concerns.
