Tucker Carlson interviews & ideologies

Tucker interviews Steve Sweeney, a British journalist (working for RT) who has been living in Lebanon, who expounds on his (possible?) Israeli assassination attempt by F-16 on March 19. 2026. Caught on camera, the missile (or GBU-38 bomb as mentioned) explodes incredibly close but missing it's target. Sweeney also mentions the Israeli bombing of the Shrine of Shimon, aka: the Shrine of St. Peter, in southern Lebanon in 2024, which Tucker seemed to have no knowledge of.

Have to hand it to Tucker helping people like Sweeney's important voice be heard.

It was a great interview! I loved the way that literally the wind changed the potential outcome of that bombing experience - and noted what felt like Steve's acute awareness of that on a deeper level. Things could have been very different, they were incredibly fortunate. Nothing like a good old bombing to make you realise you truly are alive! So glad he spoke so honestly about the IDF and their evil deeds and relentless persecution and ritual slaughter of good, decent people who are simply doing all they can to help others and stay alive.

Also love the way Steve spoke about RT and Russia and the total freedom he has to go wherever he wants, interview whoever he wants; his love of the people of Lebanon, why he does what he does. Sometimes I think that love for humanity is the only reason you can really do a job like that, stay in the middle of a blazing war - and still be smiling, willing to dive back into the thick of it even when the bastards nearly take your life. He spoke honestly and simply - with heart and courage. I'm so glad Tucker notices people like this and really genuinely listens to people when they are connecting with him. Lots of people 'run an interview' but they don't really LISTEN and take it in the way he does, or even truly SEE the person in front of them.

Too my huge surprise we had Tucker Carlson on Sunday with Laura Kunnesburg. He really imo came across well especially when the interviewer tried to point out he was an anti- smite.
A nice surprise and a bright spot on our propaganda channel. I'm not sure it played out exactly how they'd hope.
I haven't found the you tube interview yet as its a live show and they only showed a edited version. I'll search later for the full interview on tou tube.

Another really interesting interview this time with Ari Flanzraich, a Canadian investigative journalist based in Jaffa "at the moment". He talks about many things that I didn't always follow, but he believes that what is happening in the ME is engineered so that Netanyahu is elected again. I'm sure that can't be the only reason, if it is, but it suggests the length some might go to. After watching it, the thought that this guy could make a really good intelligence agent popped into my head. (1:51:22)

After watching it, the thought that this guy could make a really good intelligence agent popped into my head. (1:51:22)

It was interesting and could also see that Tucker seemed a little uncomfortable (that may just be me). Ari's range of answers and stories seemed at times a little odd. He dodged questions or played them in a different way. Will have to think on it more - although your last comment stuck me also as interesting.

I agree, I had similar thoughts listening to him a few days ago. I had a feeling that this guy sounded like a misinformation agent. Interesting that others have similar reservations.

According to the description, he has worked for The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, the Observer, +, and is currently working for The Washington Post.

I perused the comments and the conclusion is pretty universal with one even saying: Israeli intelligence agent.

"Never trust someone who knows everything and knows nothing at the same time."
"This guy is acting as he knows and also as he doesn't he is one of them"
"He’s whispering these deep stories and when Tucker asks “why” — he doesn’t know. Bizarre, creepy and should not be trusted."
"Tucker, be sure to check for electronic devices left behind in the studio or anywhere this guy has been. Including the fn toilet."
"This guy gives me the creeps.. make sure to search for bugs afterwards..."

I couldn't watch. It gave me a feeling of "perfect zionist agent" from the beginning.

Yes, exactly.

Had listened to it over a two days period and had almost not bothered the second day (he had that unit 8200/Hasbara vibe). However, had decided to give Tucker his due and see how and where this guy would play the by way deception game against Tucker and his audience.

Ari blew by Oct 7th, even though Tucker tried to reel him back into reality (yeah, it was a holiday, sleeping, ignoring some hints etcetera etcetera, nothing could be done). Ari worked hard to emphasis and expand on the remaining tunnels in Gaza. Perhaps he was also fair describing the mindset in Israel who really do not think of anything but themselves. However, as Ari said, they all have waited 3,000 years to reclaim their land and they are not about to make peace in the long game. He claims they are not interested in a new temple mound when asked - a reminder to the evangelicals. He claims Israel suffered very little damage done by Iran.

The Saudis love Israel (at a certain level). Ari claims - accurately I think, that the Syrian head-chopper Jolani is very good for Israel, but could be a problem down the road. Taking on Lebanon was no problem at all, and it's a Hezbollah thing anyway, but Israel does not plan to occupy, no. Their goal is to make things a wasteland where no one will want to live. They see that as their buffer strategy.

Ari was a this way and that way type of guy.

Ari said many other things couched in a cool dispassionate manner (often in a 'we' or 'us' manner), and as was hinted at in the other post, he was always getting unique interviews where he would let the quotes carry the day.

Tucker asked about the Hamas bags of money from Israel, wherein it was just to make them happy for a while, Ari seemed to say.

So, Ari lived/worked in Israel for 7 years with no real watchful eye at all - for a journalist, traveling about into Palestine and up the settlement hills, then back to Toronto and back for another 2 years. Wonder how he landed on Tucker?

According to the description, he has worked for The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, the Observer, +, and is currently working for The Washington Post.

Suppose, if you are writing in these places, then it seems to me that someone had given him the nod to do so.

Tucker at the end asked the big anti-Semitic question, where did the anti come from? Ari pondered this, basically saying it has always been there and people just hate Jews since time immemorial - again Tucker asks, but why? There was no answer. Personally, people should not hate Jews, but this word string has been very useful for some to maintain a chosen one narrative that is not allowed to be argued with. Tucker hints at the chosen one history and Ari deflects.

Ari claims the Jews of Israel are near 100% behind Bibi, yet not on his corruption per se, but they can look past that as his goals are relatively the same.

Bibi will win the next election, according to Ari. He also claims the Jews of Israel don't really identify with American Jews - other than they are Jewish, and also by and large most Israeli's do not even speak English, he said. Of American's, Israeli's think they are idiots or gullible - something along that line.

One observation that is not objective of me to say, was that there was a subtle sense that Tucker felt threatened in some way - which he would probably dismiss. He was uncomfortable, though, and Ari seemed to play Tucker like he knew nothing and listen to me, and that is big mistake.

There is a transcript behind Tucker's paywall which will be a more accurate account.
