This is just insane.. so NATO can invade Syria on the grounds of supposed chemical weapons, but when Turkey do so blatantly, you might just be lucky enough to hear about it.

I am going to try and translate this article. Turkish is my mothertongue and I have had lessons in english for over 9 years at a german grammar school in germany.
The general secretary Ali Çerkezoğlu of the medical chamber of Istanbul has talked to Açık Radyo and has stated that the governor of Istanbul has been giving out very funny numbers about how many injuries there were since the beginning of protests.
Furthermore he said: "While we were encountering 700 injuries at one particular night, the governor stated that there were 160 injured policemen and 15 protestors. This does not reflect the truth and we are facing such violent attacks that the numbers of injuries are exponentionally growing second by second. Injured people also do not have any possibility to go to hospitals." He added: "I am not talking about small injuries but, as contrarily stated by the governor, about serious injuries", reffering to people shot at their thighs by rubber guns and suffering from leg fractions.
Doctors have not been able to care for normal incidents for days but have to look after victims of state violence.
Ali Çerkezoğlu said: "There are doctors everywhere in Istanbul, who are asking around where to go to help. We are honored by this display of service but at the same time feel very bad, because since 20 days we are not looking after people who are in the hospital for usual casues but after people who have been violently attacked and injured by their own state and the violence of the police" adding: "it is very simple to stop the forces which are choking and injuring the people - we have to stop police violence." The water sprayed by the TOMAs now have different ingedrients from last time.
Çerkezoğlu continues: "The water sprayed by the TOMAs inherit acid, which is not a new thing. They are using a version of pepper gas. These lead to reactions (? maybe physical reactions ?), however this time we face people who are suffering terribly while wearing their clothes."
"This is the first time such a high dosage is used. Earlier exposions to TOMA water were not this harming. He also said that the doctors grow "worried, anxious and sad" whilst facing the incidents.
Some doctors have stated that they think the acid added to the water of the TOMAs is an acid called Solvent. They said that this acid is responsible for the burns on the skin of the injured people. They furthermore announced that the gas used by the police is the "pentium acid operation gas" and said that people exposed should not drink water for 30 minutes after getting in contact with it.
