Very lucky to be alive I think, would have been convenient for the main parties if he was out of the picture alltogether though...

To be honest, I don't think they would have been bothered either way.

Nick Farage has competed for a seat at Westminster about 5 times before, once coming 3rd ahead of Labour in an area near where I live.

I guess there are a few people in the European Parliamen, where he has a seat, that won't be rushing to send him a "get well soon" card. He quite often ruffles their feathers!
