If that was the case than there was a discrepancy between your intention and your acting; I don't think your post was helpful. I also have a hard time to understand, what bronz's bolding has to do with critical thinking or lack of such. Could you elaborate?
Sometimes we unwillingly/unconsciously focus on others' possible mistakes so to avoid seeing them in ourselves. There is a feeling of being 1) right and 2) a good observer that usually accompanies this kind of avoidance. But for an attentive self-observer, that feeling itself is a red flag which also makes it easier to recognize s/he is entering such a phase. Perhaps something to look into?
