I thought the headline sounded stupid... 'Then he was shot to death in New York'... It goes on to read:
'Brian Thompson led one of the biggest health insurers in the U.S. but was unknown to millions of the people his decisions affected.
Then Wednesday’s fatal shooting of the UnitedHealthcare CEO in a targeted killing on a midtown Manhattan sidewalk thrust the executive and his business into the national spotlight.'
Again, that reads as if his low profile was killed, and him consequently, in the spotlight.
I thought to myself: 'There's going to be a lot of Unitedhealthcare commercials now', and sure enough, a UHC commercial played as I wrote this post.
Anyway, I checked Wikipedia to see what UHC has been up to, and they have a history of lawsuits. But they're big enough to silence the press with advertisements.
