Unprecedented Rainfall and Major Flooding Around the World

The bigger question is why now the world is in a state of upheaval, is there another agenda on the world stage to take advantage of ecological disasters at this time...

The "Lithium Grab" speculation is misplaced, as the lithium deposits exist in a narrow belt just a few miles west of Charlotte. An hour drive at least from Chimney Rock and even further from Asheville.

... pegmatites occur in a belt over 60 km long and 1 to 2 km wide astride the South Carolina - North Carolina boundary in the southeastern United States (Fig. 1). The Tin-Spodumene Belt (TSB) was considered the site of the largest spodumene pegmatite deposit in the world at the time production ceased in the 1990s ( Kunasz 1976Kunasz , 1982. The TSB is composed of hundreds of dikes of granitic pegmatite, many cassit- erite-and spodumene-bearing, enclosed in metamorphic rocks of the Inner Piedmont Province. Initial economic interest in the TSB belt in the early 1900s focused on cassiterite, both in residual placer deposits and in the pegmatites ( Ledoux 1889, Pratt & Sterrett 1904, Keith & Sterrett 1917, Kesler 1942. The occurrence of beryl in the pegmatites led to speculation about beryllium resources in the TSB (Griffitts 1954), but ultimately it was lithium that proved to be the major resource. Mining of spodumene commenced in the 1950s and continued until the 1990s. Two major mines, the Kings Mountain Mine (KMM) operated by the Foote Mineral Company (now the Chemetall Foote Corporation) opened in 1952, and the Hallman-Beam Mine (HBM) ( Fig. 1) operated by Lithium Corporation of America (now FMC Lithium) opened in1969, about 17 km north- east of the KMM. Prior to the utilization of alkali brines, spodumene from unzoned spodumene pegmatites, such as in the TSB, was the major source of lithium for indus- trial applications (London & Burt 1982). Hard-rock mining of spodumene in the TSB ceased in the 1990s. Recent industrial demand for lithium has increased, however, and there is recent exploration for spodumene in the TSB (Arrow Minerals ...

However, gold exists all over the region and the first gold rush in North America (not counting De Soto) was here until 1849 when California started. The first US mint was in Rutherford County. There are many places on the rivers where you can pay to pan for gold and precious stones.

Drawn by the gold to be found in the rivers of western North Carolina, thousands of fortune seekers kindled a North Carolina Gold Rush to the foothills of the Blue Ridge in the 1820s. Among them was the German jeweler Christopher Bechtler who bought land in Rutherford County in 1830 and began his own – not very successful – search for gold.
...
The Bechtler Mint Site is the western anchor on North Carolina’s “golden crescent” that extends to the Reed Gold Mine east of Charlotte. Since Bechtler’s death in 1842, his land has passed through many hands, once selling to speculators for over $1 million and once selling at auction for less than $100. Farmers, loggers and curio-seekers have churned up its soil and erased many features.

When a 17-pound rock of gold was found on John Reed’s farm in 1799, the first documented gold find in the United States, it was used as a doorstop for three years before its identity was realized. The gold discovery in Cabarrus County forever changed the state and John Reed’s farm became Reed Gold Mine. America’s first gold rush followed and North Carolina became the home to a federal and a private mint while leading the nation in gold production until 1848.

There are many places on the rivers where you can pay to pan for gold and precious stones.

This is one of the tourist attractions in the state. There are small businesses all over advertising panning for gemstones, and even processing them into something useable. Of course, they have to "salt" the gravel to make sure there's a find. Don't want unhappy customers! Still, it's a fun experience for a kid.

Most of the easily accessible genuine sites have been panned out. But there's still plenty more if you are willing to hike to them.

I thought the area around the US house would be interesting to dig while I was there. There are a lot of 'pan your own crystals' shops around there, who knows?

Was going to post the above to the Great Reset thread but you beat me to it! In any case, a big point in this very good interview was in Newman's conveying of how the war against Trump is not only a 'deep state'/ military-industrial-complex effort to derail him - but also, to some large degree, a Globalist effort (albeit from behind the scenes). Because Trump, while still in office, was trying to neutralize several Davos-related initiatives and policies that have had (and still do have) these elites running scared.

Getting back to Helene - a large number of people have taken notice of the apathy demonstrated by Federal (and even State) governments to those in dire need in NC. We're seeing a slew of stories now about FEMA's lack of response and funding to help those in desperate situations, which has made it painfully obvious to Americans experiencing or watching this story that they will just need to fend for themselves should anything destabilizing occur.

That's the quiet vicious message here, and perhaps one of the lessons to what we're seeing - and what we're likely to see in the future as conditions deteriorate further; with such malevolence at or near the top, it'll just be people helping people through whatever resources and generosity of spirit they/we have.

This egregiously negligent response to Helene reminds me somewhat of the "engineering" of the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio last year, and what was said then:

(Joe) Just a follow-up on the East Palestine train accident: Was the reason that train was derailed on purpose to cause a toxic spill, was that in order to further left-right divisions in America?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) That was the primary goal?

A: Not necessarily. If you are going for terror, depopulation, and general mayhem, you gotta starts somewhere.

While I don't think Helene was engineered as the derailment in Ohio was necessarily, it is interesting to note that many of the hardest hit, and those least helped, are the populations who live in the towns and mountains of NC. And who are very likely to vote for Trump, unlike those who live in some of the bigger cities of NC. This in a state, we are told, where the polling for both candidates is very close.

Roswell NM has flooded! This must be some kind of landmark, right in the middle of the dessert. 👽👽👽

That's another example of an otherwise normal storm staying put and dropping lots of rain. The 'staying put' part is likely due to jet stream blocking, which has been happening a lot in recent years, but the real problem is the amount of rain that these storms carry.

Something interesting to note in the Valencia floods; yesterday both the King and Queen, and later the PM arrived. The PM's car was attacked and the King and Queen had mud and other items thrown at them and a chant of "murderers!" rang out from the crowd.

To their credit, the King and Queen stayed to comfort the crowd while the PM high-tailed it out of there.

It's gives an insight into how much the social contract between the people and 'authorities' still holds sway. It's possible that, prior to the floods, if you had asked many of those people who were chanting "murderers", about their opinion on the monarchy, they might have said they are outdated and corrupt and 'we don't need them'. Yet as soon as disaster strikes and they are suffering, what people really believe comes out: that the monarchy or other authority has a duty of protection over the people and are invested with 'powers' that can and should protect the people from excess suffering and harm, of whatever nature.

If the people experience excess suffering and harm, they immediately and instinctively know where to put the blame, despite the fact that, in many cases, those authorities are NOT to blame.

The same is true for atheists or people who dismiss religion. They can do so with impunity during good times, but as soon as disaster strikes, they're the first to appeal to god, or his representatives on earth. It's similar to a child that disses mommy when she tries to stop him or her doing something that might get them into trouble, but as soon a trouble arrives, it's immediately "MOMMY!!!"

The flooding & it’s aftermath in Valencia is horrific. With so many floods in as many weeks, it made me think of the ‘sheets of rain discussion’ in Session 28 May 2013. There are a few visible comets about at present too which may also be playing a role.
L) So that was the last reference to the term that is exercising my mind right now: “sheets of rain”, and what brought it to my mind was of course the current state of the planet which is quite dire as far as I can see. There are enormous amounts of rain falling in many, many places. It's been raining here almost continuously since December at least, and we had rain before that. (Perceval) It's still snowing in a lot of places. (L) It's snowing in places, and you just mentioned that in this last excerpt... You said, "Sheets of rain, or dust plus electricity. Snow too." And Belibaste asked, "Because there's more dust between the ionosphere and the surface of the earth." Is that what we're looking at in the term “sheets of rain”? Something that conducts electricity... Is this related to these extreme amounts of rainfall and snowfall? Is it all electrical phenomena, like even the jetstream and all that sort of thing?

A: Indeed, and the rain can conduct.

Q: (L) Okay, so going back to my triple goddess viewed through sheets of rain, since I now have a different understanding of what these "gods" and "goddesses" represented, that they probably were cometary bodies... What you're saying, or what I'm assuming you're saying, is the triple goddess viewed through sheets of rain is essentially a comet or comets? Is it electrical discharges? (Belibaste) The cause of the sheets of rain might be the triple goddess, i.e. triple comet. (L) Oh... Is Belibaste right on that? That the cause of the sheets of rain could be a triple cometary body?

A: Close. Also consider plasma shapes including those that may appear "chalice like".

Q: (Belibaste) This cometary body is highly charged, and because of potential difference, there's a discharge with the surface of earth, in the atmosphere, leading to sheets and rain and thunders and plasma sheath which can have a chalice shape. (L) What has recently been working in my mind is the observation that when the earth is in a comet dust stream, it apparently affects the weather profoundly. That means a lot of cloud cover and rain. This seems to have been true about past events in history. I noticed that I didn’t get a single viewing day for one of the recent comets. So I began to wonder just what the deal was. How could the ancients have seen the alleged comet gods if the sky was under cloud cover most of the time! So this might explain it. There were close passages and plasma discharges viewed through cloud cover or “sheets of rain” and we know that some of the plasma formations can be quite anthropomorphic looking among other shapes. (Perceval) It seems it's a compounding effect where cometary bodies have electric effects on the planet that disrupt the planet in different ways that may cause increased precipitation, which then allows for further cometary activity? (Ark) Well, but I would like to ask about what is the nature of the dust? Earth origin or cometary origin?

A: Cometary, and some still holds charge.

Q: (L) Well, we've certainly been having, in addition to all of this rain, a veritable sprinkle storm of little meteorites that hit people's houses, and hit people's cars. It's getting to the point where it's like weekly and sometimes multiple times a week. It's not - I don't believe - a phenomenon of people simply reporting it more or noticing it more. It's just like freaking bizarre!

A: See opening remarks.

Q: (L) You mean "new world coming", well a new world coming means that the old world has to go. That doesn't strike me as being entirely pleasant.

A: You have long been aware of the cataclysmic nature of cosmic transitions, why get nervous now that it is at the door?(/quote]
