Some of the best footage of this trail (or whats left of it) imo. Having a mild fear-of-heights, I nearly had to change my shorts while watching this video. The scenery is pretty spectacular as well.

It's apparently an old route(?). It makes sense how the Cathars and others could not easily be defeated in these rugged areas. I'm going to look into the history a bit....

Edit: Caminito Del Rey is the name of this trail and it's in southern Spain, not the Pyranees as I had previously thought.

wasn't there also some cathar presence in southern spain as well as in the pyrenees?

From what I now understand the Moors occupied this part of Spain during the time of the Cathars who were further North and East.
