It was a pretty bad storm for my area (NC) and probably the worst rain and wind combination I've seen since I've lived here. I'd say the most rain per hour I've experienced. A friend today commented that he thought the same. Part of my basement was flooded this morning and spent most of the day dealing with that. The wind was making some wild sounds. A couple times as I was in bed trying to sleep I thought I was going to have to take cover in the basement, since it sounded like a freight train was coming closer and closer due to the wind and I thought it might be a tornado.
edit added: I also lost power for a time and there were some major mudslides pretty close to me.
