I did a basic overhaul to the
Signsguide (don't know when it'll be uploaded), but, in wanting a better and more in-depth version, I have been facing some problems which are beyond my present understanding so I would like to open this up for the community or an additional volunteer, but an open thread on it may provide learning for more.
I don't recall ever holding a secular political opinion more than frustrated sputters at stupid politicians and our conspirational maze. I can see the workings of pathological interest and compartmental madness on the overall but have kept my reading to a minimum on political theatrics. Here are some bumps on my path.
The matter of complexity. Since the days of Bush administration things are IMO much harder to nail, as the whole political landscape has changed, new faces and the puppets got 'sugar-coated', the fascist ball is still rolling but it seems much more diffuse play. Basically it takes a bit more political/journalistic study to describe/compress the current landscape, than I have under my belt, if one is to avoid using cosmological STS/STO mappings as this is the secular entry level page.
Some open questions:
signsguide said:
To many, the USA symbolizes freedom. This is a subjective interpretation. Ask the activists, who are demonstrating at the WTO conference in Cancun, what the USA symbolizes to them. Ask the Chilean population, on the 30th Anniversary of the overthrow of their popularly elected government, what the USA represents to them. Enough absorption of objective fact overthrows this subjective symbolism, for those who value truth and free will above all else.
Is USA=Freedom really that prevalent a view anymore? What are more contemporary examples of mass freedom movements?
How to sum up the Iraq and Iran situation since Saddams death?
How about Europe, how do we sum up It's position? Towards the Americans, globalists and other guises of the same cause. It seems most political movement in mass are New World Order on some level or other, how do we distinguish and hierarchaly organize, do we need to?
In the section 'Not enough people care' it starts:
George Bush has murdered over 10,000 Iraqis. He has condemned United States serviceman and Iraqi civilians to a short life full of pain and sickness from depleted uranium radiation. Israel has threatened to murder Arafat, igniting the world in a fire that could very well consume us all.
As a motivational header we probably need more recent figures maybe an entirely different example, any thougths
