On 9 January 2026, during Storm Goretti, a spectacular pink sky was observed in Birmingham, UK, caused by the reflection of light from the LED lights of Birmingham City FC's stadium on the snow and low clouds. These lights, used to promote the growth and recovery of the pitch's grass, emitted an intense pink light that was amplified by atmospheric conditions (snow and cloud cover), creating a light phenomenon visible for several kilometres. Who knows, perhaps the frequency of light also promotes citizens' health.

And a tropical cyclone is brewing in Far North Queensland, off the coast of Cairns and Townsville:

North Queensland is on high alert as a cyclone brewing off the coast threatens to smash into communities near Townsville about 4am on Sunday.

In a warning issued on Saturday evening, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said the tropical low system had developed into a category-2 cyclone — given the name Koji — and was expected to make landfall early Sunday morning.

Tropical Cyclone Koji is currently located 275km north northeast of Townsville and moving south at 13km/h.

According to a forecast track map produced by BOM, the cyclone is expected to impact near Ayr about 4am on Sunday morning.

The cyclone is expected to bring destructive wind gusts of up to 130km/h from Saturday evening at coastal locations from south of Townsville to Proserpine.

Heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding is forecast to develop from Ingham to Proserpine overnight.

A severe weather warning has been issued for a larger area about the northeast and central Queensland coasts, with BOM expecting heavy to locally intense rainfall and damaging winds.

On Saturday evening Queensland Police Service issued a series of emergency alerts for the Townsville, Burdekin and Whitsunday regions, urging residents to prepare.

“Destructive winds are expected to strengthen overnight. TAKE SHELTER NOW,” the alert reads.

Corrupted or forgotten?

There was a powerful solar flare at the far side of the sun with a nice comet aligned in that side of the sun, aligned also with Earth and Jupiter. The whole ensemble was aligned. It can still be seen for today, January 10th 2026:

According to the electrical universe theory, it only takes Jupiter discharging the solar capacitor to see strengthened storms. Planets can become comet-like. Though the more potent phenomena comes with very active comets, electrically speaking, discharging the solar capacitor. It's open for study and observations.

So, this phenomenon according to that theory or model happens every year when Earth and Jupiter align with the Sun, but we on Earth feel it more pronounced when there is a comet somehow aligning itself with the rest of these bodies in the capacitor?

Wouldn't it make more sense if the discharching comet would discharge the capacitor on the same side where the two planets are aligned with the Sun, and not on the opposite side of the star?

Previously it was thought that Mercury, as a comet, could be acting as a trigger for discharges, so around 2015 did histograms of angular positions between Earth, two gas giants and Mercury, in time of strongest earthquakes, as that was hypothetical measure or yard-stick representing the discharge involving and felt on Earth. No significant correlation with any particular alignment configuration was noticed, the plots should be somewhere on Forum. Later it was noted that Uranus might play important part in this, which was not checked with those histograms.

Just saying that all the solar capacitor business and what is actually experienced here on Earth, might not be so simple and straightforward as linear alignment with Jupiter with potentially a comet being zapped by solar flares on the other side of the Sun-Earth-Jupiter (possibly zig-zag) 'line'.

Pretty much the above, really. Cometary activity being the most important one.

Wouldn't it make more sense if the discharching comet would discharge the capacitor on the same side where the two planets are aligned with the Sun, and not on the opposite side of the star?

I would certainly think so, comets being more interesting in terms of activity, on the same side of the sun and Earth.

The other possibility is a 3 body problem, with one being a comet. But this requires some study and thought. There's a comet Atlas here, could it be doing something?

Or perhaps comet 24P/Schaumasse which is close to being in line between Earth and Jupiter, and much closer to ecliptic plane than ATLAS and the other one that you said was zapped by the solar flare?

Aha! I didn't saw that one before. It was reset from my view since I had the calendar set up to March 2026 and often, it removes comets when you do that.
