Is there a difference between these editions?

I have read the wave digital version (in the web page), But I don't know if there is a difference between this and the wave physical edition? Because if the books have more, I think I should start to get money.

So if anybody knows, thanks to answer.

Hi cubbex,

Have a look here. The question you are asking has been covered before. I'll merge this topic there. :)

Hi

I am about to buy the wave series, I do have the High Strangeness (1st edition), is the 2nd edition worth buying when I buy wave 1-7, then 8 when available?

There are several pages of new material in the second edition, but nothing too substantial. If you've already read it, then I'd recommend reading the Wave series first, then maybe revisiting High Strangeness with the second edition.

Hi Laura - am new here, but have been reading your work for some months - read quite a bit on line - and ploughing though the seven Wave books and Secret History. Frankly I'm blown away. What the C's say and the topics they cover just hits home in so many ways. Want you to know I think you are someone very special though I know you don't want to think of yourself in that way - but really, we all need to be a bit more like you by way of courage ...

Hi scifiscriptwriter,

Welcome to the forum. :) We recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, and how they found their way here. Have a read through that section to get an idea of how others have done it. Thanks.

I'll see if I get the wave in spanish, because sometimes I don't understand some concepts because of the lenguage.

Just out of curiosity is there a reason that the link in the online version of the wave series differ from the chapter number?
Such as link is Chapter13j which leads to Chapter 42? This threw me for a loop initially.

These are just two different ways of numbering the chapters. There are 13 "sections", that are divided into forty-something individual chapters.

I have purchased most of the Wave series books and I often go back and read them again as they are very interesting. One thing I miss is a downloadable version I could out in my Kindle which I carry with me everywhere I go. It's easier than carrying the books! :)

I think a downloadable version stopped many years back, because it got coppied and coppied and the sales dropped then. What you may could do paste and copy the online wave version, or parts you are interested in to your Kindle if possible.

how can you compare?the wave only goes so far,but the books are better written and include everthing up to date,no?i have wanted it as soon as it came out,but have no credit card, and i was gonna torrent it,but i was hoping their might be a better way,so that ,perhaps i could perform a service for them of some kind.i am in calgary, and have read that it sounds like laura and ark do business in calgary.i have soo much respect, that i would honestly have no problem doing anything they wanted me to,4 this book.i want it that bad.wish it was in the public library.

Although there is updated material in the most recent published version of The Wave, I would still encourage you to get started with the online version. The bulk of the material is unchanged, so you don't really need to worry about what you are missing out on for now -- it's a great way to get caught up and in step with the central foundation of the forum, until you find a way to get ahold of the actual books themselves :)

So,does this mean that the new red book "the wave 7" will be on the net,or portions of it already are with more to come?
