That was great! Didn't know what to expect when I clicked on the link, what a great surprise. Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't sure what to expect either and I'm not a fan of autotune but it was a nice surprise :)

Somehow this gave me chills up and down my spine!

In my FB newsfeed this morning ..."The Humbling River" by Puscifer

"Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river

It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river"

This song "struck a chord" as I listened ... "It'll take a lot lot more than rage and muscle/words and guns" ... It'll take trust (open heart) and a network of "co-linear/like-minded" individuals (hands of the many) .... to "cross the river" ... I grew up in an abusive/alcoholic household and have fought many battles (physical & mental) in my lifetime ... guarded and feeling alone, but the hardest task is learning how to open my heart and trust those who are co-linear in thought ... This song is a stark reminder as I slowly work on this while simultaneously working to awaken and overcome my inner obstacles (programs, buffers, little i's).

Ed Sheeran

Small bump

You were just a small bump unborn for 4 months then brought to life,
You might be left with my hair but you'll have your mother's eyes,
I'll Hold your body in my hands be as gentle as I can,
but for nownow you're a scan of my unmade plans, a small bump,
In 4 months you're brought to life

I'll hold you tightly, I'll give you nothing but truth,
If you're not inside me I'll put my future in you

Cos you are my one, and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
oh you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
and You'll be alright

You're just a small bump unknown, you'll grow into your skin,
With a smile like hers,
and a dimple beneath your chin,
Finger nails the size of a half grain of rice,
eyelids closed to be soon opened, wide a small bump,
in 4 months you will open your eyes

And I'll hold you tightly; I'll give you nothing but truth
If you're not inside me, I'll put my future in you

Cos you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
Oh, you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
And you'll be alright

You can lie with me, with your tiny feet when you're half asleep, I'll leave you be,
Right in front of me for a couple weeks,
So I can keep you safe

Cos you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
Ohh you are my one, and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
And you'll be alright

You're just a small bump unborn just four months then torn from life,
and Maybe you were needed up there but we're still un-aware as why.

A very sad and beatifull song!

I can't stop listening to this CD with Gurdjieff/de Hartmann music, interpreted by Wim van Dullemen ("Music for the Movements"):

Especially disc 2 oftentimes makes me cry and at the same time fills me with joy... I think van Dullemen is the best interpreter of Gurdjieff's music, at least that I've heard so far...

(this one is not on the CD mentioned above, but I find it stunning...)

Found an Italian composer by the name of Ludovico Einaudi that I really love and I completely enjoy the French Yann Tiersen and his Les Jours Tristes song. Sublime music to hear. ;) Both can be found and heard from you tube.

That reminds me I was recommended to listen to Yann Tiersen but never got around to it. Also, there's a thread called What Are You Listening To? where member's have linked all sorts of music they've been listening to over the years. It's a good place for you to post the music you enjoy and to listen to musicians you may have never heard of. :)

The Black Mages: The Extreme

This is a remake of the song going on during the final battle of the game Final Fantasy VIII.

The Black Mages are a Japanese group created by Nobuo Uematsu, the guy who has done FF music up until FFX if I recall.
