I heard this this morning when I tuned in the TV to listen to the reports coming from France on the latest attacks in Paris.

This is a song from 1983, by a German Group called Geier Sturzflug (translated "vulture swoop").

The title means "Come and visit Europe - while it still exists". Considering todays situation it was a very anticipatory song.
They predict the changes that might come . . . Various locations changing to destructive places.

I love listening to this composer's music while reading. Soft enough to not distract, interesting enough to help contemplate on what you've been reading. I definitely wouldn't just call this background music, though, it's very beautiful (chilling, even).
