What are you listening to?

You really need a muse for Wagner... I was born in the Wagner city Bayreuth...
I once had the opportunity to see the "Flying Dutchman" live in the Festspielhaus. It was very impressive... but with Wagner, of course, there swings also another mood...
My father was listening to Wagner Operas - as well as to many others - and I did not like it. I got in contact to hearing Wagner when years ago I heard the Parzival theme on the radio and I was so touched that I almost started crying. Since it was a report about a performance in a city 200 km aways I decided I would go there and watch this opera just to know what it was about. I went there, but it was a big disappointment.

t was one of those productions that prefer ugly stage sets. That's why I sat with my head down the whole time. My neighbor did the same and we were both convinced that we had seen the ugliest production ever.
While listening yesterday I had the strong impression that it would be possible to dance to that kind of music. Maybe I try it sometimes and see what happens. One has to pay attention tp what this music does to you.

I discovered this "young" man some time ago and I think he's just great. When he sings, you believe every word he says, I think... reminded me a bit of the feeling when you sang @Ageeva
It's a wonderful song and, yes, sung with knowing emotion and the words to match:

'They say that wisdom comes with age,
that's not always the case.
You'd be a fool to judge a wise man
by the lines upon his face.'

I think the best songs, at least for me, are the ones that reflect the struggle to understand the meaning of life. Thanks, @Mililea :-)
