What are you listening to?

"The Parting Glass" - Freddie White

Of all the money that e'er I spent
I've spent it in good company
And all the harm that ever I did
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all

Oh, all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I loved
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be with you all

If I had money enough to spend
And leisure to sit awhile
There is a fair maid in the town
That sorely has my heart beguiled
Her rosy cheeks and ruby lips
I own she has my heart enthralled
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all

I remember many years ago I love to hear to songs of Celtic Women, this song struck me recently, and to be quite honest, I thought I was being mind controlled, I couldn't get it out of my head. What was it.

In My Fantasy

In my imagination I see a fair world,
Everyone lives in

Unfortunately, I cannot find a translation to post, unless you link to the website above, so much for a fair world, when one lives in a woke ideology.

Speaking of Celtic songs, I love this rendition of Siúil a Rún set to the backdrop of Aragorn & Arwen from LOTR. First heard it in the show Riverdance and have loved it ever since!
