What are you listening to?

I’m a long time fan of the late John Prine.
Recently became impressed by this group of talent from Britain, Nashville Exiles.
They recently released this beloved Christmas song, which was written and preformed by John Prine years ago.
They asked Johns brother Billy to join them, and it’s beautiful.

Pearl jam release is such a great song ..,unfortunately I can’t post it here as their record company blocked embedding … but do yourself a favour and check out the song live .. it’s amazing

Thinking about old games whose music touched me, I thought back to the famous Final Fantasy IV, whose intro music and main menu music made a strong impression on me. At the time, I would sometimes start the game just to listen to this music. I even ordered, from Japan, the CD of the main songs of the game, CD is named "Final Fantasy IV Grand Final", played by a philharmonic orchestra.

And now I've found a piano version that I much liked and I wanted to share it, so enjoy, or enjoy even more for those who played the game and remember this so beautiful theme.

Iyah May released a new song

oh you’re a n*zi
oh you want peace
you’re just a citizen you’re still on a leash
It doesn’t matter which team you choose
At the end of the game you lose
You’re just a chess piece on a board full of vaders

Keep up the porn
Keep up the chems
Keep up the war war war
Keep up the reps
Keep up the dems
giving them more more more

Stay silent, stay violent,
stay plugged in and divided

Cool now let’s get rid of the cash
Digital ID and Let’s turn up the tax
Mr Thiel Mr Anderson
They warned us, with the blue pill
And they tell us before they do it
In the movies
Like it aint real

Billy Gates he makes a profit off disease
Buys up the farms and patents what we eat
Him and Pfizer got a trillion-dollar dream
You can go and depopulate the elites

so They killed Charlie
and They killed Marley
both the kennedys and marilyn
they Killed Dianna
And They killed Jackson

we are their legacy
this is their anthem

Stay silent, stay violent,
Stay plugged in and divided

Bombs drop from heaven just like hail
Dragged your own through the mud well done Israel
When the altar and the ballot and the barrel shouldn’t meet
Cleanse a country kill the children
Mr Bibi, How do you sleep

This is an orwellian wet dream
Puppet strings are under threat
Burn our souls to power the machine
Puppet strings are under threat
Can kill my flesh not my spirit ohh
Puppet strings are under threat
Are you a wolf in a world full of sheep
Puppet strings are under threat

Palantir watch us like hawks
And Blackrock is black to its core
Funding the digital war
Starmer like Judas on tour
Now be a good civilian while
While the folks on the hill keep making billions

Morq-e sahar

Morghe Sahar (Persian: مرغ سحر, also romanised as Morgh-e Sahar or Bird of Dawn) is an Iranian tasnif widely regarded as the unofficial anthem for Iranian freedom

The English translation of Morghe Sahar (Morning Bird) conveys its powerful themes of freedom and resistance:

Oh morning bird, sing your song,
Renew my pain once more.
With a fiery sigh, break this cage,
Shatter it down to the floor.
O nightingale, break free from prison,
Sing of human liberty,
Set this world ablaze with your breath,
With fiery harmony.
Oppression, tyranny,
Have ruined my nest,
Oh, heavens! Oh, nature!
Bring dawn to this darkness.
Spring has come, flowers bloom,
Yet my eyes still rain with gloom.
This cage, dark and narrow like my heart,
Set it aflame, oh burning sigh.
Nature’s hand, do not pluck
The flower of my fleeting life.
Oh fresh blossom, turn your gaze,
Look upon the lover’s strife.
Nightingale, exiled from its nest,
Sing of your longing, but in brief.
Sing of your longing, but in brief.

Will Raven's "Eyes Wide Open":

Listen close ... they don't want you hearin' this
Open your eyes, can't you see
The truth ain't what they claim it be
They call us names, but still we rise
While those who judge wear their disguise.

They brand us with words meant to cut like a blade
Racist, extremist, the labels they've made
But we just speak what we know is true
Armor of faith, steel shining through
They silence the bold, rig every debate
Cancel your voice if you call out the state
Big Tech's watching, tracking your call
Selling your data to build their wall
They twist our words to fit their frame
Smear our cause and curse our name
But we ain't villains like they decree
We're just proud folks who choose to be free
Surveillance creeps with each new device
They sell your freedom at a corporate price
They call it "safety," but it's a lie
A digital prison till the day you die

Open your eyes, can't you see
The truth ain't what they claim it be
They call us names, but still we rise
While those who judge wear their disguise.

They flood the airwaves with scripted lies
Bury the truth while freedom dies
They dramatize, distort, pretend
But truth survives, it won't bend
Their game is fear, control, and shame
But we won't bow, we name the game
They dim the light to block our view
But we see clear, we always knew
They preach division dressed as peace
Destroyin' the good they'll never release
Banks own your life through debt and chains
You work, you bleed, for their gains
Healthcare's rigged, you pay to stay sick
Pills for profit, the scam runs thick
Big Pharma cheers while they write the laws
Bought politicians give fake applause
Borders wide open, not out of grace
They stir the chaos to weaken this place
They break it down, then raise their hand
Pretend it's help while they rob the land

Open your eyes, can't you see
The truth ain't what they claim it be
They call us names, but still we rise
While those who judge wear their disguise.
