What do they plan to do to us?

Hi lukewilson,
It is perfectly natural for us to seek knowledge from those that have it. This is a fundamental way we are prevented from building significant awareness.

You are doing fine. The guidance you, and all of us receive from each other, is the result of, initially, a few people's efforts that has grown into a large networked of aligned consciousnesses, in varying degrees of development and wounding.

You never need to give excuses, just action, as excuses are part of the defensive system. However, explanations can certainly be courteous and help clarify.

In your post I see a mix of both, some to help explain where you are at and the challenges you face, some to excuse yourself. This also is perfectly natural as it is the way we have been programmed.

To move from excuses to explanations is a big step of putting the ego in its place. Often both excuses and explanations are actually directed at the self, even though they are apparently issued to others.

To figure out which
Is which and to whom they are directed requires considerable self observation and awareness, the result of self directed research using a network for feedback purposes (OSIT).

On a side note, it would be wrong of me not to mention karmic debt. To take without reciprocal giving creates an imbalance between the giver and the taker, leading to karmic debt that requires balancing. When we take from those who have invested untolled (and untold) amounts of energy, we need to give back the same amount, be it in equivalent terms or in other forms of energy, financially, for example.

You are doing fine. Keep plodding along through the reading (try to find time for the psychology books as well), follow the generous guidance you have received and contribute to others where you can (as you have started to do on other threads).

Gonzo

Hi anart.

Infact to be honest, I am not really much of a reader. The wave will be the 2nd book I would have read in my life - the 1st one being a tom clancy novel. It's a skill I need to improve...

Hi Luke,

Didn't you have to read books at University? As you've probably become aware, there is a veritable slew of books that are the basis of, and used for discussions on his forum. Being a slow reader is okay, as long as you keep at it and don't become discouraged.

I'm sure your life experience of always having somebody tell you what to do or give you answers has carried over to here, and now having us tell you to do your own research, find the answers yourself, is going to be difficult at first. So, if you are willing to go the distance, find yourself a nice, comfortable chair, a good reading lamp, and get started. :)

Also, doing E/E and the detox diet will put you in a better frame of mind to tackle it!

It has carried over here to an extent. It's hard to draw the line between when I should ask about something and when I shouldnt. It's that over familiar feeling of being in a lecture hall and the lecturer is talking about something that you dont understand and you think to yourself 'should I ask for clarification or should I keep quiet because evryone will think I am like stupid or something similar....' Now now, before this gets over-analysed I know this is the predators mind talking or some wounding that one might have got from childhood etc etc but it's surprising that many people feel this exactly same thing and that is why people rarely ever ask anything in lectures, if they do, it's to correct the lecturer when he has made a glaring mistake.

I intend to go the distance. What else would I do instead? I havent become discouraged by reading the books. Actually they are quite interesting, It is just that as you said, there are alot of books that form the basis of discussions in the forum. It will take me some time to cover this material so I can come up to the required level but in the meantime some questions might pop up in my mind or some situation in my life, which the answer to might probably lie in one of these books but I wouldnt know as I havent covered the material yet so I might ask the question in the forum.... Sometimes while reading and following the narrative, a question pops up and sometimes I jump the gun and ask about it, but lo and behold go to the next page and there is the answer staring you back in the face like the answer to why I started this thread was right there in the wave series in the next chapter... Here it is.

Omg, I hope these are not excuses.... They look like excuses so they probably are. More than anything I might be trying to convince and comfort myself by writing down these excuses like Gonzo said but since they are down I'll leave them.

Q: (L) Let me ask this, CD asked an interesting question. It was, if we know what he thinks we know, and if we are building the kind of strength that he thinks we are building, and getting factual information about all such things, why hasn't somebody, either on 3rd density or 4th density, seen fit to stop or block US? He was asking very plainly why has something physical not been done to, as he put it, "take us out?"
A: The powers that be want slow release of information.
Q: (L) Does this include the 4th density STS?
A: No, but they don't see that which they do not wish to see. [Now notice the distinction here. They said that "the powers that be" want a slow release of information, and I asked if this included the STS factions and the answer was "no." So that obviously means that the "powers that be" we are talking about here may be the "good guys."]
Q: (L) They don't see us as a threat?
A: More like an annoyance.

So it is abit of a learning curve. I should learn to hold that desperation of needing to ask... should become more patient as the answers might lie round the corner. I suppose you could say I get abit to over-excited and act rushly... I should learn to control this.

EDIT: Just noticed a flurry of excuses in my post.

It would seem to me that what happened to Cathars happened because there weren't any systems in place to prevent it. Nowadays we have atleast parts of media which would undoubtedly report if PTB decided to actually start killing aware individuals.

Further, I would not be surprised if STS forces, both 3D and 4D, are studying Laura and company to see what they come up with in their research. I think some even hope (or hoped in the past) that Laura would find an ancient piece of technology that is currently hidden from STS eyes: Ark of the covenant aka Holy Grail.

What I often wonder about: are there any other groups on this world of near 7 billion, who are doing a similar work as this group is doing?

by the way: keep up the good work trying your best to catch up, luke wilson!

Exactly. Perhaps it would help to control it to realize that each time you start a thread asking questions about things that you simply haven't gotten to yet in the Wave, others have to take time and energy to respond to you. It is more externally considerate of you to read, read, read some more and when you are finished, then ask questions about what you still might not understand. If you count the number of times people have suggested to you to finish reading, you'll realize it's what we've been saying all along.

Good thing is you've realized it. :)

The Wave is excellent reading, you will like it Luke I'm sure. There have been years since I last read it, but I am now starting again from the book 4 and it's really exciting to come back to those themes with a little bit more understanding than what I had before.

Hi,

Well, we certainly don't want to discourage you. Perhaps if a question pops up, you could try searching the forum with key words and see if you can find an answer in another thread?

I'm quite new myself, but the thought that comes to mind for me is this; you might consider keeping a "confusion journal" in which you write down all of your questions as they form for you. This will allow you to continue reading, but not lose track of the things you desire knowledge about. You could also include your emotions related to that question, to aid in self observation. You could keep in mind which material you are reading, to determine how likely the text is to answer your question eventually. Once you reach a "checkpoint", such as having completed a book, you could look back through the list and note which questions were answered. Perhaps even meditation on the questions, the reading, and your life experience could yield results, but that is just speculation on my part. Then, questions of an urgent nature could be asked on the forum.

I suppose that is important; what questions are urgent enough to justify not waiting?

Or so I think.

Thanks for the different suggestions everyone. I am taking all this onboard.

Thanks HowToBe, what you suggest is very practical.
