What happened to the forum?

Initially, I didn't see the other posts in this thread, just mocachapeau's. When I tried to modify my post, there was an error that said I didn't have permission for that board???

Hi Gimpy,

I merged mocachapeau's post with this topic. Looks to me like a new Theme maybe in the pipeline so just hang on till it's all sorted out. Not to sure how long it takes although I know that making changes to SMF's theme can be a "painful" process.

Forum Display

Hello folks,

I tried to post this earlier but for some reason it didn't seem to go through.

Is anyone else experiencing a weird display for the forum? My screen is no longer blue and not everything seems to be appearing quite right. It's all just different shades of gray. Some information is missing as well, like the name of the person who started each thread.

Is this a common problem?

Patience has always been a virtue...................................it is different and maybe that's good thing..as is not change good. ;D
 
Hey, the new design looks great! Clean and sleek.
Took me a minute to locate my favorite view, now 'Recent Topics' in the colored bar below where it used to be. Nice job.

Yes, it's much better than last night! Images have a finer resolution too. Good work guys!
 
This theme is not new. This is the default theme within SMF. Hoping that Scottie will take the opportunity to replace it with a new theme although as I stated above, it can be a painful process. :(
 
I logged in and thought, "oh crap what happened." :scared:

Luckily, i read the above posts so i'm sure it's just fine. :lol:

Now I got it what you meant. Because when I read your message short after your posting, everything looked like the old way. But now I can recognise a great difference myself. :)

Our hosting company spontaneously "upgraded" us to a new server. Unfortunately, there was no warning at all.

The theme is back, but it seems avatars are still missing. I'm gonna go through all the settings and fix everything.
