What's the deal with this organ donation badge/pass/card hysteria?

During the last couple of days/weeks I've been bombarded via snail mail by the state and health insurances (like anybody else in Germany, I guess) to think about it, fill out and carry with me at all times the "organ donation pass", whether I allow/forbid organ donation in case of my own death/demise with the reasoning of "releave/unburden" my family and those close to me "of such a decision".

While the idea of organ donation might bear some altruistic/noble motivation, the proceedings about it I am experiencing right now with these insistent mails raises some red flags in me. Why this sudden urgency to have every citizen declare clearly their attitude on having their organs donated in case of death? Surely you are a "good/moral" citizen and of course you would gladly donate your organs, wouldn't you? Smells like lots of $$$ with a decent BS odor to me.

I made a quick search on the web and came up with e.g.:

Brain dead are not biologically dead

Since 1968, the so-called "brain death criterion" applies. That is, the person is considered dead when no brain activity are more measurable (EEG). Opponents of organ transplantation say this controversial definition had only been introduced because removal of an organ would not be possible otherwise - because only very "fresh" organs are usable. In fact, the person can be referred to at this time hardly as dead: blood circulation and respiration of the brain dead can still be maintained as long as desired, the growth such as the hair or nails goes on, your metabolism is still working, the expected for a dead, rigor mortis and decomposition processes occur not one. In addition, "several cases of brain dead pregnant women are now documented who have given birth a child." (1)

If brain dead awaken again
There are also several cases are known in which as irretrievably brain dead individuals diagnosed awoke. Such is the case of a 76-year-olds who awoke after their relatives have been asked by doctors to consent to organ removal - fortunately not pledged (2). Especially at accident scenes brain death diagnoses to be made under time pressure, so that errors can not be excluded.

So called for a priest who should move to relatives of brain-dead child to donate organs, even in the presence of the family a simulation of the unit switch off, because the child seemed to him all too alive and he was hoping for a sign of life. The respirator was switched off because the child suddenly struck eyes. The reaction came too late and shortly after it choked excruciating.
A husband tells how he and his wife, whose brain functions had failed, according to doctors 98 percent communicated. She answered him by the graph of their heart rate questions and exciting moments of sudden movements made to the edge of the monitor. (3) there are numerous examples Derlei.

Expiration of a Organexplantation:

First, it is checked whether the patient is really brain dead. For this, various tests are performed, including the apnoe test, that is, the respiratory device is turned off for a period of time the patient gets into oxygen deficiency. According to Professor Cicero Galli Coimbra, it may happen that a person dies from it, that is only by this test for dead. Other tests include severe pain stimuli. In the case of a coma patient, it may happen that he perceives the pain, but can not resist.

Eyewitnesses report by the effect that the brain dead do more on it the impression of a sleeping man, a dead man, his body is still warm.

Now the patient is taken to the operating room. For the transplantation traveled specially to a doctor, who previously had no contact with this, probably to protect the psyche. This is also the reason why the caring nurses from that date no longer get to see their patients. Reports of mental health problems of persons who have to do with the removal of organs, are sufficiently known; their conscience accuses them of having murdered a man.

During the explantation of the brain dead will "kept alive" with respirator and heart-lung machine, since the desired organs must be kept until the end of oxygenated blood "fresh". At this time, 96-98 percent of his body cells still fully functional, and these would die, the organs and tissues have no medicinal value more.

While the doctor attaches the scalpel and begins to cut open the body from top to bottom, blood pressure and heart rate to rise most significantly. Partly it comes to sweating and Lazarus syndrome, that is, the patient shrugs, lifts an arm or tries to sit up or turn away. These signals are the same ones who show up at a man who suffered severe pain. To avoid disturbing twitches, the "patients" usually tied to the operating table and get Muskelrelaxien, sedatives, and sometimes even strong painkillers (!) Administered. Show such as muscle twitches and reflexes abgetanen sign of life, that the nervous system of the brain dead (brain and spinal cord) was not 100% yet defaulted, otherwise it would not be possible.

After taking the body is exploited and partly mutilated, no one controls whether not more organs, cartilage and tissues were removed, as the donor would have it - or his relatives, who, in case of sudden death in minutes to make a decision. Here, they are often more influenced by questions like, "Your son certainly would not have wanted a child dies because of him that does not get his organs ...".

[...snip...]

Questionable machinations

Finally it should be mentioned that especially in the U.S. often experiments are carried out on brain-dead, for example, require a functioning circulatory system - without the consent of the "guinea pig". In America also practice according to a survey 40% of trainees in emergency rooms to brain dead. Also from Germany are now numerous scandals known (8).

Furthermore, the problem of criminal organ trafficking consists of: background this business put millions.

The regulations regarding organ donation vary from country to country, in Austria, for example, each be considered potential organ donor unless he can register separately in a file that he does not want to donate. Who would not want to be made involuntarily to the donor, should always carry a declaration with it.

So bottom line, I think I will in fact fill out the badge and declare additionally in the reserved 'additional comments/infos' section "No thank you, I'll be keeping them organs of mine to myself after death, stay the f*** away from me!".

The writing style on this article is strange. Is this because of translation from German to English? I am horrible with words and writing, so when I notice, that says a lot.

I would say no. I also do not donate blood for same reasons. I know it is touted as a good and noble thing, but I suspect that a much deeper and evil reason is behind this agenda.

Sooooooo much blood is being donated. Where does it all go? More people give than people in need are receiving. That is some what speculation on my part, but seemingly, I read a lot of people needing a transplant that needs one and waiting lists are an issue. Here in the U.S. it is decided and stated on your drivers card. I have struggled a bit on the moral implications of this, but always end up saying no.

I look forward to the feed back you will get from this question, because I have wondered the same.

Something seems way off with the way organ donation and transplants are handled lately, osit.
Here's an article about the new transplant law in Greece which was passed when everyone here was focused on the first Memorandum, protesting in the center of Athens by the millions.

This law could be the path to legalizing organ commerce, and I doubt such a dramatic change to the way the human body is treated would remain localized in a single country for too long. These are the 3 key points that make this law suspicious.
1 - Assumed consent ie. if a person doesn't declare formally that he doesn't wish to be an organ donor while alive, he is an assumed organ donor after death. The family's consent won't be necessary anymore.
2 - Living transplants allowed on the basis of "emotional relationship", people will be allowed to give organs to anyone in the world on the basis of improvable relationships.
3 - Private companies will be allowed to "remove" organs. It's bad enough that this is handed over to private companies, but we are also not informed as to what they will be doing with these organs afterwards so anything is possible, openly selling them included.

I translated the article and transcribed the video in a bit of a hurry so if any greek-speaking people find any mistakes point them out please.

All Greek citizens will be considered forced organ givers and not donors in five months from now.

According to a law passed and voted for in 2011, in the 1st Memorandum when Papandreou was prime minister, the removal of organs can be done by hospitals, private clinics or companies and not by the National Transplant Organization, as it was done until now, and without the consent of the patient's family or the prior written request of the same person .

This law has led to the resignation of the NTO Bureau and the discontent of the ICU doctors because they believe that our country will become organs and human tissue caterer for the planet, while the human body is converted into an object in the concept of Property Law, because a physical or legal person is now entitled to its ownership .

The transplant coordinator for Central Greece and ICU consultant George Kyriazopoulos discussed this for Star Channel.

A law of which few heard about and which will create unrest in Greece will be enacted upon from June 2013, it converts Greek citizens and everyone living in the country to forced organ givers and not donors as it used to be.

This law was voted for in June 16, 2011 without nominal voting, when the Parliament was under siege from a crowd of Greek citizens protesting for the complete impoverishment the Memorandum was leading them to, while the whole country was preoccupied by it and G. Papandreou.

The then ministers allowed the members of NTO to be present only in the consultation, without taking under consideration their suggestions on the matter.
"Someone else took the decision for this important and delicate issue and we wonder, who is it ?" declares the transplant coordinator for Central Greece and ICU consultant in Lamia, George Kyriazopoulos.

During that period, in the summer of 2011, the government accepted the resignation of the NTO administration and assigned a new overnight.

<<The specific clause of this law tells us that all Greek citizens are organ givers, except if they declare in paper that they do not want to be. The exact opposite of what was applied until now. Now, this law, the purpose of its creation I could never understand, and especially during a time when the 1st Memorandum was under voting and there was a great upheaval in Greek society, I never understood why this law was passed.
No institution commission was informed of this law at the time, like the NTO or the ICU Fellowship or the Medical Association, except later when it was already under consultation.
No expert sat down with the Minister to create this law, instead it is a copy from the Spanish law, because this is valid in Spain years now, but even there organs are never taken without the consent of the family.

As coordinators of transplants and ICU we disagree with this law, as did the previous administration of NTO which resigned when this law was passed 2 years ago.>>

What changes according to the new law ?
The donor range for living transplants is broadened, as for example kidney transplant.
Persons outside the family of the patient will be able to give their organs. Doctors fear that this will lead to organs commercialization.
Secondly, the assumed consent. Namely the removal of one or more organs from an adult, deceased person takes place since he hadn't voiced his opposition when he was alive. So, it takes place on the basis of his assumed acquiescence.
There will not be relatives' consent anymore but someone else, coming from the new organizations that will be created will decide for the patient.

In this way, as Mr Kyriazopoulos also declares, the human body becomes an object, since a physical or legal person is entitled to its ownership.

<< We disagree on three key points.
One point is the assumed consent, there is no reason for us all to be apriori organ givers, this way the concept of donation is abolished. Every human being has the right to assign his body as he pleases. No lawmaker can tell him that you will assign your body this way apriori, and if you don't want that then declare it in writting with a solicitor. This is irrational.
So, we believe that this clause will damage transplants and organ donations, it will eventually diminish the donors number.

The other issue has to do with living transplants, namely people that give one kidney to someone else. Here is another dark spot in this law, while the previous law allowed us to give one of our kidneys to a close relative, untill second degree relative as I recall, now this law allowes untill 4th degree relatives or even an emotional relationship. For example, I donate my kidney to you because I love you without anything else.
This has too many windows through which to create precisely what I said before, the organ commerce.
An emotional relationship cannot be substantiated. What court can substantiate what relationship I have with you? >>

Third dangerous spot of the law - Even private companies from abroad can take part in this, converting Greece into an organ and human tissue caterer for the whole planet.

<<It allows even private companies to remove, as it states instead of "taking" - the "removal" of organs. Well, this shouldn't be, the previous law allowed only the official transplants centers to remove organs and place them in the transplant patients. Of course a foreign company may come and utize the 1 million illegal immigrants we have in Greece. Utilize them by taking one of their kidneys and paying them for it and all those poor immigrants that have nothing in the world will suddenly have an emotional relationship with a european citizen to whome they will give their kidney. So such windows are opened, and because we are a very distrustful people, and the time we are in is dodgy, I think this law has to be revised at least partly, or not to be enacted at all.>>

The citizens have heard nothing about the issue, as they said they do not agree under any circumstances with this law, and could only look at it with suspicion.

Fwiw, several years ago, when I was still in Israel there was a heavy "pro-organ donation after death" campaign going on. TV and radio ads with various celebrities who chose to make the organ donation card and were urging others to do the same. The flavor of the campaign was very suspicious, and had the same smell of BS and fake concern as the anti-smoking campaign. At the time I suspected that this is part of the preparations for the war with Iran. Don't know what the real deal is, but there is definitely something wrong with it.

The Greek law is crazy. The issue seems to be that if it becomes a system of incentive to make money in the organ transplant market, how many will die instead of being saved in situations where there are those waiting to get their hands on organs?

It will be interesting to see which 'elite' are behind this new move to make more money from the population aka the commercial transplant companies. I also immediately thought of the anti smoking campaigns.

Apart from the massive market to the detriment of the weakest in society there is also the terms whereby the body is still 'living'. This is horrendous as to be physically dismembered whilst alive, ie in a non permanent coma or falsely proclaimed dead the traumatic and indescribable pain the person would undergo will definitely affect their transition to 5D once really dead. Totally needlessly and purely out of greed. The trauma would affect evern the most prepared (in knowledge and being). What an awful thought, I hate to think how many people may have undergone such torture, illegally to date.

The other possibility is that although you declare that you do not wish to donate your organs, who is to say they don't take them anyway, under the guise of saying they couldn't locate the declaration card, or even under the auspices of having had to do an autopsy. Who would think to check if organs have been removed after having stiched up the body after autopsy?

With regard to blood donation - it is a 'clean' way to feed the 4D sts aka cattle mutilations etc.

I cannot help but suspect that this is all part of the 4D wishful thinking of their takeover/energy needs and that this originates from them, same as the anti smoking for same reasons (plus they don't like smoke).

They are literally bleeding the population and planet - in every way possible. Lord only knows what is coming down the pipe next. Compulsory cloning? Mass soul extractions after people have been incarcerated? It is getting impossible to 'hold' onto anything!!! Let alone our sanity. Thank goodness we find sanity on our forum.
