I've loved Rondo since the 80s. I heard them first when I was living in Germany.Affresco
Rondò Veneziano
When I heard this music piece one year ago, out of the blue tears rolled down. Just like that, without any connected memories or anything - and just continued. Like a silent call, deep buried memories/connection/emotion (?) normally totally inaccessible, and yet still deeply connected from a long time ago, far far away...
I was truly startled to say the least.
Apparently it is a famous music piece (masterpiece?)
It is absolutely beautiful !
Where the ice is at its thinnest
Marie Fredriksson [from Roxette]
People know her from the music group Roxette - but few know her Swedish album from 1992 which at the time of publishing was unusual darkly and melancholic. I liked the whole album "The constant journey" ["Den ständiga resan"] very much, because it had endlessly more depth compared to the songs Roxette was so famous for.
We walk where the ice is the thinnest
I know we're walking on a fire
I know how lonely it can feel I've fallen so many times myself
But I believe in you when you look at me
When you understand that I love you
I believe in you when you look at me
I believe in you
I know I should have said it better Maybe I shouldn't have said it at all
I wish life was easier to live but I can't live like no one at all
But I believe in you when I look at you
When you understand that I love you
I believe you when I look at you Stay with me
Stay with me
When the ice is at its thinnest...
Lol didnt even know this is the original version, seems bit cartonish compared to version i always liked - and IMO this song is better in duet
Yeah - something dreamy about it.London Grammar's leading voice is a really beautiful one. There is a pull in her voice i find to be very special.
I be darned, this is the lesson on how everything can be so deceiving in today’s world. I was curious to find out who is a lead singer behind this beautiful voice and it turns our its a male. And apparently he is masculine man, married with kids.Yeah - something dreamy about it.
Cigarettes After Sex are my favorite in this vein, just realised there is actually a genre called dream pop I guess I am fan
Strange times we live inCigarettes After Sex is an American dream pop band formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2008 by Greg Gonzalez. The band is known for their ethereal, limerent and often dream-like musical style, lyrics often based on the themes of romance and love, as well as Gonzalez's voice, which has been described as "androgynous".
