who is Ken Korczak

If he's for "real" he's not the first guy to prostitute himself without asking the big "WHY" questions.

A lot of people have been done harm by supposedly "harmless" BS- look at Scientology. It may start out as benign-but the tenets can become corrupted in a wonderful hurry and can devolve into an " us vs. them" mentality- it has happened all through history.

With all the other issues at hand however unless these folks (considering the fact "they" may not even exist) do something really "out" there, one more wacky religion isn't going to matter much

Just steer clear of guys making clicking sounds when they eat bananas!-knowledge protects!

Good point.

You are way too gullible, Richard.

Hi Laura,

"Good point" doesn't mean final acceptance. It means add it to the other possibilities.

I just took a look at some of his other ouija board articles, and it really looks like a bunch of bunk. If any of what he's describing were true, then he is pretty gullible himself -- I think it's more likely that he's writing fiction, though, because most of it seems pretty ridiculous. The thing that stinks to me about the article quoted at the beginning of the thread is that he plants the idea that someone would use entities contacted through a ouija board to create a new religion (which he himself does not believe) for the sole purpose of making a profit. And he just happens to speak some Polish -- seems like there could be some plagiarism going on with less than benign intentions.

She wasn't referring to your 'good point' comment, Richard, she was referring to the fact that you thought this guy's story was worth looking into to begin with.
