Another thought....the two wars act as a conveyor belt of profit for the military complex...the US might have spent a trillion, but what are the true PTB's profits for the last ten years, at the expence of soldiers and civilians. Well, I checked about 7 or 8 of the links and didn't find one source of verification from a reputable source. Even if what this email said was true, I too would still support spending for taking care of those in need (particularly those coming here from Mexico, a country that has been ruthlessly exploited by the US government) rather than spending to kill and destroy whole countries. However, even welfare and other social systems keep people in poverty and don't provide the tools to help people get on their feet. Some community agencies do a good service, but their often overloaded and there are too few of them. There's so many social programs that could be implemented to improve lives and communities but we already know what those in power are really after.

Sounds VERY racist to me... I work in construction and even the illegals will tell you that its not the "border crosser" that is is the criminal, but the second generation , born here, "mexicans" ( read all central and south americans) that are the criminals... Think about it... if you have no papers and are illegal simply by being here, are you going to bring attention to yourself by petty crime?

But if you are "second generation" or third, and have legal rights... who is going to be more apdt to cause trouble and bring the law to their door?
