Why do some people "wake up", while others do not?

It’s important to note that our consciousness is a constant from one life time to another and in any one life time our “quality” of consciousness either de evolves or evolves meaning we either lower our entropy or raise it from lifetime to lifetime…Also it’s important to note that in between lives 5D we our memory wiped in order for us to make authentic Free Will decisions THUS I believe those that have improved their quality of consciousness from life to life have a greater chance of waking up….If we want to talk about everyday situations, mother/father, life altering accidents, influences from society friends well I would say being born into and being around higher level conscious free will awareness avatars will help ones cause….

Either, or.

How did you get to these conclusions?

First, how do you define consciousness to be able to quantify it by saying that it is constant, presuming that the term "constant" relates to the quantity or its amount?

Second, if we adopt the statement from the C's (paraphrasing) that consciousness is information arranged by truth as working hypothesis, then the logical analysis of that statement implies exactly the opposite, the quality remains the same, i.e. arrangement by truth, but its quantity changes, i.e. more information assimilated and "converted" into consciousness by the arrangement by truth. So, how do you define the quality of consciousness and what exactly do the terms evolve and devolve mean in the context of consciousness?

Also it’s important to note that in between lives 5D we our memory wiped in order for us to make authentic Free Will decisions

From this I read that you assign authentic Free Will decisions to personality and not to the Soul, because I see the Soul as the one who makes actual choices and plans for particular physical incarnations in 3D/4D while contemplating her learning spiral or lessons still to be learned on her path of development, while remembering and having an overview of the path traversed so far.

So, can you explain a bit your viewpoint on relationships between Free Will and Soul and personality besides that to consciousness?

It is said through numerous resources that the soul/consciousness chooses to come to 3D also there is sort of a life plan however parents, extended family early in life, trauma can shape ones subconscious and mindset or as you said “personality”. The 4th way work and other like kind work here on the forum and outside it aims at creating/fusing the higher centers together so instead of having many “I’s” different fragments pushing and pulling ones human avatar intellect and emotional centers is haphazard directions through the work you know yourself quelling or erasing these many different I’s…to do the work to want to improve yourself so you are not under others whims and influences takes a “free will” decision that doesn’t happen by accident thus the ABILITY to first be attracted to improving one’s intellect/emotions then having the WILL to pursue and improve one’s “personality” and their “faults” “conditioning” and undo trauma is a “free will” choice and from what I have read and different people I have interacted with - it is a safe bet that those souls/conciousness that choose to find truth about themselves and reality and “grow up” improving their human avatar so they can be more STO in this world VS STS … this life their soul/conciousness living in this reality at this time is MOST LIKELY not the first time their soul/conciousness has reincarnated to a physical reality like ours…

The above is my expanded response to my original post on this thread … if you have a question about my explanation then ask it but try not to speak for me

I can provide resources for why I say what I say or expand further

I do not consider seeing a fast food commercial on TV and becoming hungry when seeing said commercial and going to that establishment a free will decision this would be an A influence pushing pulling ones intellect and emotions in a certain direction I use the term free will for I guess you can say more “important” things

I suggested to specify what you meant by “wake up” , and as far as I am concerned you have indicated it. Thank you.:-)
Waking up usually refers to becoming aware that there is much more to life than what society at large believes. In a more personal sense, waking up is becoming aware of one's programs and automatic habits, as well as the possibility of becoming more conscious.

What I find interesting is that there seem to be quite a few people who "woke up" during covid to what is really going on in the world (conspiracies, etc.), yet many of them do not seem to have woken up in the more fundamental sense described above. In other words, they do not see the necessity of doing the Work. And quite a few of them are falling into traps such as believing in Flat Earth.

So in one sense, they "woke up" somewhat, but in another sense they are still firmly asleep.

The post is in the work thread , so I think the “wake up” is to be referred to those who study and/or practice it. But maybe I'm wrong.
