anart how long people live before ? today 85 years - before 1,000 years ?
I'm just wonder how long they live.
Well, I don't have a specific answer for you. I do personally think that with the right use of centers and minimal environmental toxicity, that the human lifespan would be (and has been) significantly longer. Considering that we, as a species, are pretty much completely unaware of our true history (on this planet and preceding that), I find it quite plausible that at one point in 'time' human beings lived much, much longer lives. If you consider the time period of the creation of the global monoliths, of the time when we, as a species, had more direct access to and interaction with the cosmos (or higher dimensions) for energy, food, anything necessary (see Secret History of the World), then it seems plausible that in that environment lifespans may have been considerably longer. I think it was Gurdjieff who suggested that the wrong work of centers is one of the reasons for the unnaturally short human life span.
I asked the question of Pashalis because he was making assumptions, based on 'what we are told' about pre-historical human life spans and I think, quite strongly, that not only do we simply not know for certain - but - there is reason to think that, as with everything else in human experience, our lifespan has degenerated over time, if looked at from a very long scale of time. Yes, the life spans in the middle ages were shorter, but that tells us nothing about millions of years ago, and if you've read Forbidden Archeology by Cremo, then you know that there is archeological evidence of advanced human life on the planet millions of years ago.
In other words, we don't know - so to assume that human life spans have been growing longer uninterruptedly throughout our entire history is faulty thinking, from my perspective, simply because that very well may not be the case. I suppose I could have summed all that up with the phrase, "sez who?" instead of "why would you think the ancients lived shorter lives than we do?" ;)
