Sounds like *many* things are being programmed, step-by-step
until the programming is complete?

Yeah, well if worst comes to worst, I'll stick a jammer up on a pole. Then I'll tell the neighbors, and Duke (if they call) we're using witchcraft to block the evil emf. Put on my robes, sword, light some frankincense and smoke up the place real good, etc. when I hear the Duke truck coming. You get the idea. Bet we get our analog meters back pretty quick.

Unfortunately, a jammer would actually increase the emf pollution, but we've got about 20 acres to work with.
Haha, I love that idea! Would something like that actually work? Just curious 'cuz you're the one with the experience. :)

There's a good chance it would since we're in a VERY remote area. They'd have to keep sending technicians out to try and figure out why the "Smart Meter" wasn't sending a signal (of course I'd turn the jammer off while they were here) Considering the nature of the people, it's HIGHLY likely that the technician would blame everything that happened to him after his visit, from a flat tire to the sniffles, on the "Witches"

Of course it helps to already have the "reputation" I can walk down main street and someone will whisper "That's that crazy old witch from up on the mountain. Did you know that she rides her neighbor's cows and gave her goat a sex change operation?" (all true)

I've found that "being normal" and "fitting in" is HIGHLY overrated. :P

Somehow, it sounds like you live on "Witch Mountain"?
