Hi All,
Tried my hand on a video (Unholy Hungers). I was attempting (for several weeks) to come up with something. This is the quote I placed when uploading it.
"Unholy hungers: a reminder on Vampirism. Finishing Unholy Hungers and learned a lot about my (our) use of Vampirism and wanted to make a video about it. Did the video at all do justice to what I got from the book? Not even in the same galaxy!
What I took away from this reading is that we are all vampires until we learn to see ourselves in the mirror. This is the best book on the subject of Vampires that I know of in existance.
Barbara E. Hort (a Jungian psychologist) deserves praise for her vast number of parables, insights, historic quotes and symbolisms. She has thanks. Salutes! "
I was stuck, I considered putting in text over certain images, yet do not know if I can clearly convey much of what I got from reading it. Reading Unholy Hungers I feared it was going to be alot of psychology and little about vampirism, boy was I wrong, while still gaining much in terms of psychology. She really sticks well with the topic of vampires.
In the end you get a Halloween video with little reference to the book after the beginning. There are sexual references and a slight bend toward gender. Getting images of male vampires was a bit more difficult for some reason. Some of the things I wanted to text in is how we use our vampisim: Sexually, Economically, Physically to put is broudly. Anyhow, got to get back to building and winding these damn alarm clocks. :)
