Years of chronic infection

My name is Domagoj. I first stumbled upon Laura’s work back around 2008 on a local website.

I haven't been able to get rid of this chronic candida oral thrush infection for many years. It has subsequently caused moderate osteoarthritis and ocular problems via microvasculitis. These symptoms are currently manageable. They were worst in the beginning, having seemingly eased up with time. I go to work, have a great family and I strive to make their days better. I want to be there for them and I want to be there for my team at work.

I’ve tried keto, fasting, NAC, bromelain, oregano, clove, coconut, turmeric, ginger, neem, kefir, tea tree, lugols iodine, hydrogen peroxide, nystatin cream, miconazole cream and fluconazole at 100 mg doses as I was allowed to and prescribed by the doctor.

Of these the best was ingesting doses of up to about 800mg of lugols iodine where I experienced a week of clear tongue after which the trush came back. I've tried it again since but it doesn't clear it as much as before.

I take supplements to support my health and Im not overweight or underweight. I’m not in pain the majority of the time. I do not take any steroidal medication for the inflammation and I'm not vaccinated against covid.

Perhaps my case can help others if I can figure it out. I’ve been a part of the candida subreddit and there are quite a number of people suffering from this chronic issue and doctors dont seem to take this seriously enough, if at all, like they barely care or even believe their patients.

I know questions of a personal nature are discouraged, but I must do what I can do to try to solve what has been an impossible problem for me so far. If it’s not possible to submit this question I will understand.

Before I make any other guesses, tests, visit any other doctors or take any other antifungals, I would like to be able to consult the Cs. I know there are no simple solutions but I need to be pointed in the right direction.

So, what I would like to learn is - what is the personal optimal strategy for getting rid of this i.e. what antifungal(s) should I use against the candida I have and what does my body lack to facilitate getting rid of the candida (supplements etc.)?

I haven't been able to get rid of this chronic candida oral thrush infection for many years.
What is the data available for this statement?

It has subsequently caused moderate osteoarthritis and ocular problems via microvasculitis. These symptoms are currently manageable.

The later can be caused by other factors, which could also favor pathogenic candida.

Is it possible that you're making assumptions as to what is the cause of your problems? Can't really find a solution if you don't know what the problem is. "Ignota, nulla curatio morbi"

Hello, it seems you been working on with the physical approach, I wanted to ask whether you’ve also looked at this from an internal or emotional perspective?

It might be useful to review “Candida” in a biodecodification dictionary and reflect on what emotional themes could be involved and worked on in parallel with the medical treatment.

Sometimes addressing both levels physical and emotional can help bring more clarity to the process. Just something to consider alongside the clinical side.

Andreas Krüger, homeopath, naturopath, rector, and director of the Samuel Hahnemann School in Berlin- Germany:
"Today I'd like to talk about Candida Albicans, a noble fungus. It's not a spectacular tool, but it is one that reflects our current society. In reality, the fungus is a very harmless roommate in our system, responsible for eliminating the remains of other organisms, such as dead bacteria.
Let's get straight to the first indication: there are many people with compromised immune systems whose main symptoms are tiredness, fatigue, or "everything is too much." If everything is too much, it means I can't control myself, or that I've reached my limits and am completely overwhelmed. Candida (homeopathic) should be especially kept in mind if other homeopathic remedies like Nux vomica, Sepia, or Phosphorus don't work.
Why does our immune system collapse?
With EVERY antibiotic taken, a mass murder occurs in our body. An infinite number of bacteria die in our intestines, all with functions Metabolic disorders, and after taking antibiotics, our intestines feel like a battlefield. Without these fungi, which break down these bacteria, we would essentially be poisoned by the toxins of the bacteria and rot. The fungus helps us survive because it eliminates the bacteria so we can survive. To do this, the fungus must multiply.
And what happens if it multiplies?
The fungus also begins to cause symptoms. While not as threatening as the bodily toxins of bacteria, they are unpleasant because they remind us that something is wrong with our immune system.
We immediately smear this fungus with any antifungal remedy. Canesten is one of the most widely used remedies that no home is without. But if we wipe out the fungus, it can't do its job, and our self-poisoning progresses. It's an eternal cycle that leads to the second key symptom: we feel completely helpless and desperate.
This recurring cycle reminds us that we are in an unhealthy parasitic relationship. This means that someone is inhabiting us like a parasite and feeding on us. Candida helps to Getting angry, saying no, and setting limits. We often use illnesses to limit relationships. Tens of thousands of women constantly take antibiotics after having sex because they get a mild bladder infection afterwards. This leads to a massacre, from which the fungi try to save us, only to be wiped out again by antifungal creams.
What does the fungus tell us?
"Watch your limits, your boundaries! Be careful when something you don't want happens!" "
In fact, the fungus is a real panacea, because if the fungus didn't take on this task, we would eventually get cancer.
My miasma teacher Peter Gienow said that parasitosis, the miasma in which there are many fungi, is the body's attempt to keep us alive, thus preventing us from entering carcinosis—the miasma of cancer where we will truly die.
The fungus is our most important help. It helps us maintain our boundaries and strengthen our immune system. If we don't have balanced relationships, where giving and taking are equal, then the fungus comes along and says: STOP!
I have helped many people embark on an independent journey because the fear of poverty has stopped them. According to a survey, 80% of couples over 30 in Berlin-Charlottenburg are afraid. The fear that women will remain in these unfortunate parasitic relationships is the fear of poverty. And here Candida is a means of establishing limits, boundaries. In dreams, it expresses itself. Candida's defenselessness in the form of bombs, explosions, and violence. Another symptom is sugar cravings when people are in a losing relationship. Candida is the most important remedy for people with sugar cravings in unhappy relationships.
Summary:
The funghus is our greatest aid in getting closer to our hidden shadows, oppressions, and aggressions. And it is a means of strengthening our immune system. As the immune system grows stronger, it automatically strengthens boundaries with others.
An exercise by Rosina Sonnenschmidt accompanies us: stand up, hold your hands out in front of you with your palms in front of your chest, then move forward with your hands and say the formula three times: "This far and no further" (see photo, except use both hands).

Hello @Anima56 . I see this is your first post. Please go to the Newbies board and introduce yourself so we can get to know you a little bit and welcome you to the Forum. You don't have to post anything real personal; just a bit about what you like, how you found the Forum, if you have read any of Laura's books/articles. If you aren't sure what to write, you can look at other threads on that board to see how others have done it. :-)
