You ever have times where you think of a cool little quote in a conversation?Something witty and fitting to the particular point in your life?I want to try a thread of that sorts. What little quote, that YOU came up with, do you like to think of when things are tough or confusing?I'll start it off.....

Life is like a set of jumpers on a hard drive, you can either become master or slave.

I got a bunch of "life - is - ms"

Life is a box of unopened finger paints ... have fun with it! I pray I can only always hold that stance ... I have learned already I can't - but I hope to now ... long story. But the finger paint thing I have found great value in ...

Somebody I went to school with used to say "Life is like a sewer. You get out of it what you put into it."

a chinese friend of mine said my eyes were like a sewer - all brown and green ...
how about life is like a big comfy couch ...

Sarcasm is a fine waste of intelligence.

I actually had that quoted back to me once regarding my (sometimes unbridled) sarcasm.

Sarcasm - lowest form of wit, highest form of humour or so they say!

It's character building (so they tell me)

Don't worry - this'll hurt me more than you

Trust me - I'm a (insert occupation here)

"Nothing lasts forever", there is a point in time when anything changes ...suddenly it came to my mind the 8a. Law of Ouspensky in Search of the Miraculous.

There is another one in which my father kepts saying me and I do not like it, but for some time ago I repeat it to other people as well; something like "s**t happends": "There are things in which there is nothing to do, and this one is one of those"

"Always keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain could fall out."

For example, in a relationship with a psychopath when they repeatedly make more and more bizarre excuses for their behaviour and the victim keeps on believing them against all the little tell-tail signs.

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.
''Life is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury.'' (Skakespeare)
