Tucker Carlson interviews & ideologies

Sometimes we look for "proof" that validates our jadedness (very different)... and if you look hard enough at ANYONE, you will eventually find something wrong with EVERYONE. Which is a great way to remain "safe", I say this respectfully, but it may be something to meditate upon, as it could go beyond this topic.
Alejo, you are a thoughtful person. But honestly, I have been monitored by the government and harassed daily, in the past....When the neo cons were in power. I had a multi national forum. I dug up everything on politicians and foreign policy, the banks...you name it. I was friends with and alternative journalists and had articles published (overseas too) that got me in hot water. You could google just my 1st name and I'd come up 7th. I had black helicopters everyday, multiple times per day fly over my house...once they circled low over my little boy and I, while out walking...if the windshields weren't blacked out I could have seen their faces. Dead small pets too...we didn't have a dog then.

The man that attacked me, held me hostage, beat me, and poured boiling water on my naked body was nephew of a mobster...a name you can still google....he was involved in runs to Cuba during the Cold War.

So understand, I know how dangerous the world is...I might not seen so bright to some but I was damaged, son.

I am not denying any of the above, and I am sorry that such has been your experience, sincerely.

All I am saying is that if you never trust anyone that offers the truth because of that, then their work was entirely successful. Think about it.

Then we get the OMG! Response with the “pattern recognition run amok” knee jerk reaction (Which is itself “pattern recognition run amok!”)

Didn't see anyone rushing in there and speak to the poster like I was spoken to.....So, is it dislike for me?

Please don't make this personal or about emotions, it is not. It is not even about Tucker, but about the tendency of some people to engage in off-the-charts conspiratorial thinking, which leads to errors and illogical takes. It is our duty to point such things out here for the benefit of all.

The video @Zzartemis posted is a good example - irrational pseudo-dot-connecting on steroids. You can put together a video like that about almost anybody. Heck, I could do one about myself. With such thinking, you can "prove" all kinds of outrageous claims.

Or this:

FROM THE ARTICLE I POSTED:

SNIP:
The CIA funded its dirty war against Nicaragua by helping the Contras to flood America’s Black urban centers with crack cocaine. That is the argument put forward by investigative journalist Gary Webb in his “dark alliance” series for The San Jose Mercury News and later in his book of the same name. The articles were widely republished and caused a storm of indignation across the country, with massive public anger being directed towards the agency.

Fortunately, the CIA could count on the loyalty of many friendly journalists, among them Tucker Carlson, who by 1996 was working for neocon publication The Weekly Standard. In an article titled “A Disgraceful Newspaper Exposé and Its Fans,” Carlson launched a wall-to-wall defense of the organization he had recently applied to join.

Framing it all as a ludicrous accusation, he claimed that there was “no evidence” for Webb’s claims, and presented the CIA as a noble institution under unfair scrutiny and constant attack from forces inside the U.S. that wanted to bring it down. Far from engaging in the drug trade, he claimed that there is “ample evidence” that CIA officials had “moved to remove drug traffickers” from the “Nicaraguan resistance” – an interesting choice of words to describe the Contras.

He also wrote off the Black journalists showing interest in Webb’s findings as conspiracy theorists, stating that “few major media outlets have validated the series by reporting on its charges in any detail,” as if to say that this proved its erroneousness. In his book, “Politicians, Partisans, and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News,” he would later describe the idea as “ridiculous.”

The CIA was very thankful to Carlson for helping muddy the waters and shooting the messenger. A declassified CIA document cites his Weekly Standard article, among others, as aiding them in “managing a nightmare.”

Webb was subject to a huge campaign to sully his name and hound him out of journalism. He faced intense scrutiny and criticism from the national security state. In 2004, he was found in his home in California with two bullets in his head. His death was officially ruled a suicide. Others believe the messenger was killed.

Can't you see that this is the sloppiest kind of thinking? Most of us know about the Gary Webb story and similar CIA shenanigans. This article just presents that story, but then goes on to argue that just because Tucker was one among thousands of mainstream journalists who peddled the mainstream narrative at the time, and that some CIA analyst wrote in some report (these guys write reports with press clippings every day!) that Tucker's work was helpful in the cover-up, that Tucker must have been CIA. It should be obvious that no such inference can be made. What's more, to then go on to argue that he must be a nefarious player even now is another error. Again, he used to be a neocon shill, nobody denies that. So what?

Also keep in mind that the way COINTELPRO has historically operated is not by building up some pundit for decades (and a neocon shill to boot with no street credibility!), only to flip him into a limited hangout who happens to bang out truth bombs in the most eloquent ways. If I were the CIA, that would be the last thing I'd do. No, what they most often did was to divide opposition movements by sowing discord and accusations, including accusations of being agents of the enemy. Always works like a charm.

If we want to survive this, we must learn to think, and ground our thinking in experience and reality, not in a hyper-abstract realm of loose dots and jumping to conclusions and either/or thinking. Could I be wrong about things? Of course. But I know for sure that approaching conspiracy narratives with the same skepticism and grounded mindset as mainstream media narratives is the way to go. And I hope that if this exchange here has any merit, it is that it made that clear for those who read along here.

On this subject, I would say that it would be good to remember the overwhelming and totally amazing control of the media in the Covid narrative.

Is it possible that those newscasters really believed what they were saying?

Maybe, but it's unlikely.

There is a phrase from the C's (I'm paraphrasing) "They didn't anticipate Putin."

It would be great if this happened with this newscaster, however it is quite likely that there is an agenda to this.

I don't think anything happens at those levels without it being approved by someone.

However, it is gratifying to hear something of possible truth in such a relevant medium.

By his acts you will know them, he told himself.

Time will tell.

But luc, you're not CIA, and comparing how you'd do something or think to how they would is like comparing apples to oranges.

I'm also reminded of the maxim that pathologicals project onto others what they themselves are doing. And given the laws of ponerology, the way pathologicals infiltrate and ponerise establishments to create pathocracies, at this point in time it's very likely that every actual person who fits the category of CIA "controlled opposition" would be pathological, to point where all kinds of perverts and deviants occupy the organisation, such as men who pretend to be women.

I watched the video with Tucker and enjoyed it. Does that mean that Tucker is the new Messiah? No, but it is refreshing to hear someone in the media expose a few lies though that doesn't mean that one therefore should trust the person or put them up on a pedestal.

If we look at a historical figure like Caesar, then one could easily put a video together using Cicero as source to frame him as an evil power hungry dictator, which is what history by and large has done. But we know that it is a very false picture of Caesar.

JFK is another figure, which if one looks at his schooling and parents could easily judge as part of the evil establishment and make plenty of videos to justify such a view, yet we now know that such videos would be a complete misrepresentation of JFK.

If we take the Russian president, Putin, then he is also framed as being evil, often in the West with the fact that he once was a KGB agent. Yet, despite that something in him was biding its time and once he was in a position of power decided to act in favour of humanity. Yet, even while in power he has disappointed some people because he didn't do X, Y, Z, as they themselves would have done from their armchairs, such as invading Ukraine back in 2014 or nuke the US as others suggested. He had to deal with reality, with what he was given, the capabilities available and also with the knowledge of what he was up against. (The same points would have been the case for Caesar adn JFK). This dealing with reality would mean taking decisions which would sometimes be unpopular but necessary in the forced choices he was (and has been) presented with. That does not make him a saviour but likely the best we have to encourage each one of us to act in favour of a better future.

This is all just to say that someone like Tucker (and no, he is no Caesar, JFK or Putin) should also be allowed the possibility to grow up, change his views and be a figure whose courage in speaking up can be respected, despite his family background, schools he went to, and what he said and did 26 years ago or even 10 years ago.

Or should we not allow certain people the possibility to change just because of them coming from a wealthy privileged background or because of what their parents did or didn't do?

If we look at a historical figure like Caesar,

JFK is another figure,

If we take the Russian president, Putin,
Yes, all good examples, which made me think of the Apostle Paul, who was a Pharisee, that heavily persecuted the early Christian church.

(Not that any of thoses are in his league, but he is a good example that people can change, none the less.. )

Carlson's UFO story was interesting. I wonder if this is the Stanford professor who approached his team with claims of "over 100 cases of US servicemen dying from traumatic head injuries due to UFO encounters..."

Garry Nolan

Interview with Nolan by Lex Fridman about a year ago:

Since Carlson's interview, the Military Times has asked for comment on this claim from the Pentagon. They stated simply, "this story is false."

What do y'all think? Is this Nolan guy credible? Is there any evidence, like court documents, for his claim that US military personnel have been killed encountering UFOs?

I have most of the vid to watch but I looked his name up and Nolan's gotten a lot of exposure, currently.

The following is a SNIP from Wikipedia on him about investigation of damaged brains....States that the individuals' symptoms were identical to Havana syndrome, which if I remember correctly, Havana syndrome was in the news a year before covid....And I think it surfaced in D.C ....but don't quote me on that location.

SNIP:
He was later approached by officials and an aerospace corporation to "help them understand the medical harm that had come to some individuals, related to supposed interactions with an anomalous craft." He was chosen primarily for the types of blood analysis his lab can perform.[27] Initially via CyTOF blood analysis, he helped investigate the brains of around 100 patients, mostly "defense or governmental personnel or people working in the aerospace industry", of which a subset claimed to have seen unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP). The majority exhibited symptoms that were "basically identical to what's now called Havana syndrome" and had their brains scanned via MRI. Nolan stated that some of the brains were horribly damaged and that "what we thought was the damage across multiple individuals" turned out to be a "over-connection of neurons between the head of the caudate and the putamen" which he claims was disproportionate in this cohort compared to the general population[clarification needed]. Others have independently verified the role of the caudate in intelligence and planning.[28][29] This brain characteristic was something subjects were born with for multiple individuals in this subset.[3]

FWIW I'm not sure what to think of Tucker Carlson. IMO he is frequently quite mean spirited and many of his monologues seem geared towards "rabble rousing" just like other mainstream media shows. That said he is speaking with people like RFK Jr, Russell Brand, and Jordan Peterson and sharing his platform, which is something I find quite interesting. He's also done pieces on many important issues in the past few years. Maybe the way is to hope for the best and maintain a healthy level of skepticism.

I loved Pink Floyd since high school. Should I deprive myself of this pleasure because David Gilmour appears to be a jerk? Even Roger Waters appeared to be a jerk and wrong about stuff. I don't care. Their music still stands on its own as some of the best rock compositions of all time.

Chinatown is one of my top 20 movies. Should I never watch it again because Roman Polanski is a pervert?

There's an argument to be made about boycott, but in the case of Tucker Carlson, it falls flat, because he addressed his past wrongdoings and more importantly, he's doing a great job exposing the lunacy in the present.

Is there something he's promoting right now that's not acceptable? I don't think so.
If he starts doing that, then you can call him controlled opposition, possibly, but until then his output is the absolute best we have from someone with that sort of reach.
I personally have much greater misgivings about JBP and Rogan at the moment and I'll still listen to some of what they have to say.

Ultimately, I'm confident enough in my own discernment and I also have this network where things that I'm wrong about generally get called out even if I don't bring them up.
I can safely expose myself to sources that aren't always on point, or have some misleading positions, because I can pick out the wheat from the chaff and this network helped me acquire that skill. When that skill might be lacking, I can be confident that it will get addressed on the forum.

As for the general public, Tucker's rants are probably the best chance they have to start waking up, so if he is indeed a CIA stooge the CIA is doing a pretty lousy job.

I don’t know if you’re gonna get evidence in the way of court documents ect…. However there’s long been a campaign of the Soviets using EMF type weapons against Americans in embassies that was widely reported on back in the 70’s and 80’s but isn’t mentioned as much now. Robert Becker goes into some detail on that in his book the Body Electric, chapter 15. Short story is that the US set the safe dose for microwaves at the level that produces a thermal effect, thanks to a Operation Paperclip scientist, however there are many effects that happen at levels well below this that can shape the neurons in yer brain. Many studies were conducted on rats and other animals.

Now since that time we’ve discovered that the brain has billions of microcrystals of magnetite that are single domain and can be magnetized on and off by perhaps passing an electron past them. I posted an article about that in another thread, so one could postulate that UFOs have devices that can send out microwave radiation in that range, much like the phased array 5G antennas can do and that type of radiation is absorbed by magnetite so it’s definitely within reason that brains can be fried by that type of radiation.

The C’s also mentioned that the cell towers have a nefarious use for some in the future and we know some people have become more magnetic after taking their Covid shots, so the whole scenario certainly looks horrible and apocalyptic when you piece together the evidence.

The Invisible Rainbow is another good book that talks about the dangers of excessive EMF and the C’s mentioned long ago that magnetite is the alchemical key to transitioning between densities/dimensions which makes their plan of trying to lock certain areas into some sort of frequency fence make more sense.

We’d probably need to get more granular detail on exactly what the function is of the magnetite crystals that are in our brains. However it’s known that pigeons can no longer return home because of the EMF soup we’re in and there have been studies where people had a sort of natural sense of direction that was disrupted by placing magnets around their heads. So those tiny biomagnetite crystals play an important role in our ability to assess and be aware of our surroundings, and there’s evil forces out there messing with that.

But luc, you're not CIA, and comparing how you'd do something or think to how they would is like comparing apples to oranges.
Well that is precisely what luc is saying, most of the information coming out about evil Tucker is a lot of speculation based on a tremendous amount of assumptions using some facts about his life to write a narrative that is servile to those who wish whatever he's saying to loose validity.

It's a straw man argument, the kind they use when they have nothing on you.

What I mean is, the arguments coming out against him are of the kind.."well, since he applied to be in the CIA, then he MUST be thinking, doing, saying this... because that's what anyone in his position would do". See what I mean?

he's doing a great job exposing the lunacy in the present.
One of the hottest lunacy topics at the moment is this ludicrous case against Trump being prosecuted by New York City DA Alvin Bragg:

If the Democratic Party is Allowed to Crush Donald Trump, Were Done!- Tucker Carlson GOES OFF on Democrats Over Potential Trump Indictment and Issues a Dire Warning for America (VIDEO)
Tucker Carlson unloaded on the Democratic Party over President Donald Trump’s potential indictment in an epic monologue Monday night and issued a dire warning for America should their efforts to stop Trump succeed.

As Gateway Pundit readers know, Trump faces misdemeanor charges related to an alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels back in 2006. He is accused of providing $130,000 just before the 2016 Presidential Election to his disgraced former lawyer Michael Cohen, who then allegedly passed the money to Daniels to keep quiet about the encounter.

Cohen was previously convicted of several crimes and sentenced to three years in prison in 2018. These charges include lying to Congress, as well as campaign-finance violations and tax evasion.

Federal prosecutors for the Southern District of New York decided against charging Trump related to the Stormy Daniels payment back in 2019, despite Cohen’s testimony. The Federal Election Commission also closed investigation into the case in 2021.

But Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a radical left Democrat, resurrected the case because he wanted to fulfill a campaign promise to indict Trump and put him in prison. He is targeting Trump while downgrading felonies to misdemeanors and letting violent criminals terrorize New York City. [He's another Soros funded woke shill]

We also cannot ignore the possibility Bragg is working with the Biden Department of Justice. As previously reported by The Gateway Pundit, the House Judiciary Committee is demanding that Bragg hand over the documents and testimony he is allegedly planning on using to indict Trump.

Carlson laid out the brutal truth regarding these facts in his monologue. He also lambasted the media and Democrat political figures for their illiberal and insane reactions to Trump’s potential indictment.

He then warned America that if Trump were indicted and forced from the Presidential race, it would mark the end of America’s justice system.

A political party would have successfully subverted the will of the American people for petty revenge against an individual they despise. This is something that happens in third world banana republics.
