The issue with Trump is that he is neither an experienced politician nor a state leader. He has been a TV personality and CEO for most of his life. CEOs focus on financial deals, hiring, firing, acquisitions and sell-offs with no thought given to the impact on people from their actions. The current economic system coupled with the prevailing legislation/laws supports the cut-throat business mindset. E.g. a person is fired from their job and they commit suicide due to the shame of failure or not being able to find another job. Or, their family's financial status is sufficiently impacted to cause one of their kids to take up crime and then go murder/rape someone. The company's manager or the CEO who instigated the firing is completely oblivious to the indirect/direct suffering caused and also protected by the law. Trump as a CEO may have caused such suffering by his decisions and actions which comes with the territory. Even so, the karmic debt from such actions is low compared to doing something on a larger scale.
When elected as a president or leader of a state, one cannot operate with a CEO mindset. Government is not business even though presently, there is little difference between the two under the hood. There are people dying and Trump is just parroting about making deals which is coming across as extremely insensitive. Whether he has good intentions or not; becomes irrelevant. What one says publicly from a position of power is often taken as truth, even on face value so, one needs to be careful about the message content and timing of delivery. What Trump says can have real repercussions for people on the receiving end, especially when a real war is ON with a potential nuclear threat. And, presently, Trump is losing all the goodwill he may have created on the international scene; can't say much about peoples of USA as hardly anyone thinks there and are likely busy dealing with their own issues. If Trump can't stop Israel then better to shut up and try not to be the loud mouth in the room and go back to fixing internal issues. FWIW
