The idea that humanity will evolve notwithstanding, "live and survive" forever is harsh pipe dream, and far more worst then religious fate, philosophy, new age, and esoterics. As far as it comes to raising collective consciousness, that remains to be seen and its every man and woman for them self. It's my opinion that humanity should learn to simply look at them self in the mirror, without any recollection of how they got there in that moment. Nothing could be more stronger and specific in delivering the right signals into an individual head and individual further devolopment. Furthermore, ideas of an inevitable, upward-sweeping “human evolution” often distracts us from the only thing that actually changes people: disciplined self-attention. Systems, doctrines, and crowds can amplify or suppress awareness, but they do not create it. What does create it is the practice of showing up alone with what you are, seeing your habits, your fears, and self-justifications and effortlessly allow them to fall away through the simple presence of being. None of this is clearly romantic or easy; rather its fierce and small. “Collective awakening” again, are just words, and if any weight should be behind them, it will be the aggregate effect of countless individuals who chose to face themselves rather than wait for a cosmic rescue.
