What are you listening to?

Gonna take you off my list of to-dos
Gonna sing my soul
Shake off these blues
'Cause it's alright, it's alright now
When I wake up and I Hear you say
There's no love worth chasing yesterday
'Cause it's alright,
it's alright now

Wonderful cover !

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the album (and song) "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull, here is the band performing live at Madison Square Garden in New York City, 1978.

Sitting on the park bench
Eyeing little girls with bad intent.
Snot is running down his nose
Greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.

Hey Aqualung
Drying in the cold sun
Watching as the frilly panties run.
Hey Aqualung
Feeling like a dead duck
Spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
Whoa, Aqualung

Sun streaking cold
An old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
The only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
As he bends to pick a dog-end
He goes down to the bog
And warms his feet.

Feeling alone
The army's up the road
Salvation à la mode and a cup of tea

Aqualung my friend
Don't you start away uneasy
You poor old sot, you see, it's only me.

Do you still remember
The December's foggy freeze
When the ice that
Clings on to your beard was
Screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
With deep-sea-diver sounds,
And the flowers bloom like
Madness in the spring.

Sun streaking cold
An old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
The only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
As he bends to pick a dog-end
He goes down to the bog
And warms his feet.

Feeling alone
The army's up the road
Salvation à la mode and a cup of tea

Aqualung my friend
Don't you start away uneasy
You poor old sot, you see, it's only me.

I just have to share this with you. We had a live concert in our house today with Italian and a bit of South American music by the band NapoliLatina.
It was so wonderful to experience it today on this although cold, but sunny Easter Sunday. I made a little montage for you....
As we were all watching from our pergolas, it was totally corona compliant. I so enjoy living in a house where something like this is possible. It was a great change in the middle of the dreary corona world with all its rules and regulations. :cheer:
