Fatal Accident a Sign?

When I went downstairs this morning I noticed through the front window at the top of the stairwell, a bunch of cars parked along the road at the front of our house, and people walking around and clustering at the right angled ditch that is at the corner of our property. A ditch runs along the road, and then another one is cut between our property and the kiwi field next door and runs right alongside our drive. It appeared that a car was in this "between" ditch. I couldn't figure out how that could happen because you would have to make a right turn off the road to get there and you would have to cross the big ditch along the road to do that.

I got downstairs and was informed by the others in the house who were already up that it was very bad: yes, there was a car in that ditch, and there was also a dead man in the ditch next to the car and pieces of the car and stuff all over the place for about 200 yards or so.

Next thing we know, the rescue people are fanning out appearing to look for something and came into our yard, looking all over the place, including up in the trees. It seems that there was a baby car-seat that had been thrown out of the car across the road and they were now looking for a baby.

Geezus!

More time passed, things developed, turned out that the baby was not in the car which relieved everyone. It was bad enough for a young man to be lying out there dead for a couple hours until they finally got the investigation completed and took him and the car away.

In any event, it seems that the accident happened about 1:10 am because 3 or 4 people in the house here heard something at that time but couldn't figure out what it was. The car must have been going very fast because he went airborn over some of the kiwis, just taking the tops off of them, and then slammed into the ditch next to our driveway and the power pole. The pole wasn't structurally damaged, though a big hole was torn in our chain-link fence. Where, when, and how the guy got out we can't figure. The doctor came and estimated the time of death at about 7 am which, if that is true, is horrible. It means the guy was still alive after the accident and laid there in the ditch dying for about 6 hours. On the other hand, that was just a rough estimate given at the scene when he (the doctor) didn't yet know that anyone had heard anything or what time.

There was another accident in about the same place back in 2011, on September 18th, but it was fairly minor and the old gentleman was fine. I keep wondering what it is about that spot? Perhaps a deer crossed the road and the guy swerved to avoid it. We won't know much more until tomorrow, perhaps.

Needless to say, we are all pretty traumatized by this. It's kind of a bummer of a start to February.

Wow what a experience :(, thats pretty traumatized yeah!!!!

Im sorry to hear that you and the crew are living this today; I have lived in the past and it is shocking enough.

You mention that could be a sign? and mention about the accident in september, think many things happened in september so does it coud be a sign from the universe?, if it is, I understood the things are getting REally BAD !!!!

How awful for that poor guy! I wonder if he was able to yell for help if he was conscious the whole time. There must not have been much traffic there over night if no one found him until the early morning. What a terrible ordeal, and for it to happen in front of your house is certainly traumatizing. Ya'll will be in my thoughts today. :hug2:

I am so sorry! What a terrible accident. Poor guy. It is really sad if he was alive till morning.I can not imagine what horrible shock it must be for you. You are in my thoughts :hug2:

I am so sorry to read this! Poor guy and his family. I am glad though that there was no child in the car with him. I really don't know what sign this is, doesn't look too good though. Do take care of you, all of you, there's so much to process with such a traumatizing event. :hug2:

That's a horrible thing to wake up to! And, if true that that poor man laid there for 6 hours, I hope he was unconscious for that time.

You all take care of yourselves.

My heart almost stopped when I arrived reading through the possibility of the baby being missing. The man must have suffered beyond imagination. It is horrible. I hope you all manage to process the shock.
I wonder though what might be the significance of the accident. I had a few car accident dreams lately and I kind of interpreted them as the general course of humanity. However, this is not a dream, and any message/sign (if there is one) is far stronger. The fact that it happenned at the entrance/corner must mean something OSIT.

That must be horrific to wake up to, especially the estimation that he had been dying just short of your doorstep for so long, having probably been just out of ear and eye shot. You yourselves are of course to make out what and if it's a sign or a message, but my immediate thought was that it illustrated vigilance at ones borders or backlands. I hope the guy was spared in his suffering.

As I've mentioned on FB, that's ghastly.

The idea of a baby being flown out of the car and the man dying for hours is so horrific a possibility.

I was just thinking about the car accidents (more like car crashes) that just happened on the highway near where I lived yesterday, and around the same time, there's a car pile up in Chicago (after I heard about a local crash, then read the news about the car pile). I was just wondering what was going on...

Hmmm. That's horrible - no other way to put it. The possible symbolism is quite disconcerting as well. I'd really like to know what this means, if we can possibly decipher it clearly. Please be careful, it doesn't bode well.

How terrible for all involved, especially thinking about the carseat representing a family dynamic there. The first thing came that came to my mind was drunk driving. If indeed the sound that was heard at 1:10am was the collision, I can see that as being a possibility. What sort of liquor laws exist in your area of France- particular serving hours?

Vigilance.

Is the road there configured dangerously? Is there a 'sign' on the road to warn about a sharp turn or ditches? If there is, perhaps those people 'ignored the signs'? If he was driving recklessly it is very fortunate that there was no baby in the car.

It seems to be the theme for February. :(

Hubby missed being in the pile up yesterday in Indy by a few minutes. As it was, he didn't get home til late.

According to the news this morning, the pile up was caused by a snow squall, with white out conditions. It only took one person speeding to set it off.

As far as I know, there were no fatalities from yesterday's pile up, but people were hurt.

I'd say that, coming on the heels of other crashes clear across the 'pond'? Yeah, that's a Sign. Please be careful!

:hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2:

Urgh that's really horrible :(

I am wondering as well about the possible symbolism of this tragic event.

Same thoughts came to my mind too... This eerie 'accident' could be a warning/message.... Maybe Death (mass?) is very close... driver (PTB? - rulers of this realm) left this world - or will. An there is baby seat (like ones they usually drove, human race - or new humans) are not in this cart leaving Earth. (new) babies/ new breed is safe.... just my fantasy :-[

Stay well...
