Is anart OK?

I noticed anart has not posted in a while and when I checked her profile it says she was last active back on July 21.

I hope she is alright and just on vacation.

Can anyone close to her check up on her and make sure she is OK?

Anart has decided that the work is too stressful and has moved on in her life.

This is very sad news...her posts were of great help to all...she will be missed

I second that.

Indeed this is sad news :(

Edit. This should also give some pause for thought. To the crew; take care!

It's really sad to see someone who has contributed so much to the forums leave.

Her input and support has been invaluable. She will definitely be missed. :(

Oh, well... I have an impression that existence on this planet is stressful no matter what you do. Environment is hostile.
But I respect the choice, individual circumstances are always different.

The choice was mutually agreeable. Her inability to modulate her reactive harshness was a constant source of friction in the background and the overall goals of the forum were not only not being well-served, it might even be said that the goals were being diverted and/or harmed. It's one thing to know the words, another to know the music and to be able to dance with the Universe.

'Nuff said.

OK, now I think I understand the situation, thanks Laura for clarifying

Seeing what Anart contributed to this forum I would never expect her to leave the Work.

Is this something that came to the users attention in any section in the forum?

That this be the best for everyone.

I'm also very sad to hear this. :( As far as I can see, Anart has been very helpful here, and certainly to me; she's one of the last people I'd expect to give up the Work. I wish her luck in her new pursuits.

Though I have to say, I don't understand how anyone could completely turn away from it. How can you go through life without seeing, or at least keeping in the back of your mind, the mechanicalness of man and yourself after observing it and learning about it? I can hardly call myself a good obyvatel, but no matter how low I've gotten in my life, the knowledge that something's "off" with the world, that we're all run by programs and that we CAN change if we try, has never let me abandon what I've learned here, even if I've had to go back and relearn what I thought I knew.

I wish her all the best, and that she gets some deserved rest. It feels unusual that neither Guardian nor Anart are really around any more... her first post in the Splitting thread left me with an ominous feeling.

I guess I am a lot sadder than I have any business being over it internally. I really look up to her, not unlike Guardian. Perhaps because the harshness of being cut down by Anart felt like a false I was being exposed, because of how painful it could be sometimes. At any rate she left a strong impression in me about being strong with The Work, something I may have subconsciously been mimicking, but now I wonder if that subjective impression had any resemblance to reality. I feel I have a lot of recapitulation to do over this.

I too had noticed the lack of activity since July 21st. I thought maybe a vacation but I thought more that 'something' else was up. She was Admin turned Super Mod for at least a day, and then became just 'anart'. She's also no longer on Facebook.

I'm not posting here too often just yet as I'm trying to get all the fundamental reading done. I do however check into the forum at least once a day. I've read many of anart's posts to others. She even responded to me several times. She was 'tough' but many of times she was right on the money. I've yet to see anyone else take apart what someone has written with such pinpoint accuracy. I understand though, that compassion and 'dancing with the Universe' is needed when mirrors are given.

I'm upset by this 'change'. I need to look deeper as to the real root of it. I will miss her contributions here very much. She inspired me to Work harder on my Self, that's for sure. Wherever she is and whatever she does, may DCM look after her. If you're reading this anart, you will be missed. :flowers:

That could be hard to answer. My own direct interactions with her here in the forum were quite positive as a rule, with a few exceptions. I did not know her in person, however, and did not have any of the insights that that can (but doesn't necessarily) bring.

I did notice potential issues with some of anart's posts, which I brushed off. It's hard, because some times you NEED to brush something off and get on with it, while other times that can mean ignoring something important (especially about yourself!) by doing so. How to tell the difference? Our school certainly can make the lessons interesting, for all of us.

It was good to know her, she was harsh but sometimes you need to be. Although we don't know what is happening inside, I mean as a team. That's why it would be so educative to read about this team, how you work together, how you do your work together. It can be a lesson, for all of us.

I liked her and I wish her good luck. What is important is the lessons and thinking that all of this is teaching us.

Thank you for chiming in and addressing that, Laura; I think it needed to be expressed especially by you as others have tried to address it with seemingly no success. However, I also find it sad that she decided to leave completely as I (and apparently others) have learned a lot from reading her posts and from what little interaction we have had, I find her quite lovable.

All the best and much love to you Anart wherever you are and may you not be discouraged from seeking Truth and knowledge that you deeply hunger for.

Kevin
