as I (and apparently others) have learned a lot from reading her posts and from what little interaction we have had, I find her quite lovable.
Agreed, I immediately noticed some harshness in anart's posts but did not considered them as particularly offensive. I learned better to pay attention to what is being said rather than to how it is being said.

ug: It feels unusual that neither Guardian nor Anart are really around any more...

Well Divine Cosmic Mind willing, and the creek don't rise, I plan on being around more. :)

I got love for Anart, in my opinion she was smart as a whip and spot on most of the time. She will be missed at least by me. I hope she can ponder and reflect upon all of this then remember what gurdjieff said about how one reacts when you "scratch them" so to speak. She knows. I hope the best to her. Maybe she will come back to her loved ones.

Laura, I appreciate your response.

anart, I hope you can find a way to alleviate your mental turmoil. Good journey.

Guardian, welcome back.

My intent for this thread was to check on the well being of anart (Pepperfritz has been on my mind lately). Now with more data, I do not know if I stuck my nose where it did not belong. I will need to think on this further.

Not so at all, thank you for expressing concern for our members :). There's just a fair bit of stuff surrounding anart that is private, that's all.

No need to think further. It's natural to wonder when someone who posts frequently has an unannounced absence. Nothing wrong with wondering if she's OK.

Well, as others said, it means that you care about the people here, and that's a good thing!

;

I don't want to be like that student of Don Juan's that had to forever consciously remember a thankful message and memory of his friend simply because the last time he saw his friend he was arguing with him when he should have been thanking him.

So, anart, thanks for the education, the mirrors, the demands for explanations and data, and most of all, thanks for caring and understanding me that way that you did. Much love to you...

I noticed some harshness as well, but the message was spot-on, or so I thought. If someone like Anart can be led astray, what does that mean for us as newbies?

Well we are all "newbies" in sense that we are always perpetually learning. ;)

But IMO a lesson to take from this, is that we should all keep In mind that no mater how far along we are on the path, we can always be led astray if we are not vigilant.

That’s why constant knowledge input and networking are always the key.

I wouldn't say anart was "led astray." Laura's words were

It's one thing to know the words, another to know the music and to be able to dance with the Universe.

'Nuff said.

There are a fair number of us here that predate anart in our contact with and interest in Laura and her work, and that are still around, not that such longevity is important in itself. But some people stay and some go. It's been that way all along.

Does this say anything about your future here? It's hard to know for sure, but I don't think so.

Though it looks odd for the person like Anart to quit, we have seen before some one whom we value highly quit faced with some barriers which they thought big. That is why it is work. It always throws things at our face which we don't want to see. Answer lies in how we want to respond to the barrier. Willingness to learn and having the knowledge goes a long way in the process.

I too liked and benefited from anart's 'no BS' style responses, though there are occasions I felt she called shots prematurely, which allowed part of me to 'kick and scream' to respond back. This helped me to see that portion of me which normally escapes the attention. At the end 'All there is lessons'
