2009 Crop Circles

I find this last one represents very suffocating constriction.

Spirit wanting to expand (middle circle) meets a blockade of (artificial) square blocks (note that the blocks also have central radiation theme, individual upholders of the artificial block, trapped or willfully within the block), and further the line of blocks is held in by arcs of a circle (partial circles), meaning a promise of full expansion (as represented by a growing circle) is further constraining the blocks.

3D humans hemmed in by 3D controllers, who are hemmed in by 4D (with the promise of Universal riches)? No wonder someone thought this came out of a church pew. And maybe quilt designs are a deep cultural memory regarding hemming: "To surround and shut in".

It's my impression after looking at it initially, and it hasn't changed since.

*shrug*

:umm:

here is the diagram of the crop circle:

Somehow I'm seeing crystals in there.

It seems I have seen this pattern before... as I cannot
seem to recall where though.

Somehow, I am seeing a layout of a castle, protecting
whatever it is inside the castle and the outside circles
are guard towers. Also appears to hint at something
being "guarded"? A puzzle of some sort, maybe?

I am thinking of looking for "Coat of Arms", or "Shield
of ..."? I wonder if there is online, patterns such as this
one that can be found leading to further clues. Above,
"quilt" was mentioned - not a bad idea - as this is what
many in the past have done for something "sacred"
such as Native Americans, and other groups have
done?

Hmm.... I love a good and challenging mystery!

Fwiw, Linda Moulton Howe is seeing a correlation with an ancient Celtic settlement which may or may not be a jumping off point for a search... ;)

When the Romans invaded Wiltshire in 43 A.D., there were Celtic people living in small kingdoms, frequently at war with each other in iron age communities. Iron age hilltop forts had been constructed and were used for defense against the invading Saxons. Examples are Barbury Castle north of Marlborough and Liddington Castle near Swindon. Wiltshire was the scene of important battles between the Celts and Saxons, and again later between the Saxons and Danes, culminating in a final victory at Edington, Wiltshire, in 878 AD. The Celts built settlements bounded by protective ditches such as those still clearly visible at the Morgan's Hill settlement near Bishop Cannings and Devizes

I find this picture quite interesting, because of the more distance view:

And when you have a clooser look, you can also see a pattern around the "crystal"-motif.

It's a RFID chip ! (with a sophisticated heart)

Same feeling about the surrounding "wave".

It also looks a bit like bobbin lace. (Had to look it up Grin)
Yes, very true, I was thinking of the mat of my grand mother.

About the "wave", I think it's really a wave: the rfid antenna pattern.

This one reminds me that years ago lace trimmings where used to cover baskets, usually those for carrying bread for a meal.

A variation of the Maruts and their baskets from "heaven"?

Yes from this enlarge picture I see a carpet, didn't "G" said something about pattern in carpet that contain ancient knowledge.

You know I must admit I've found the latest batch of "thatched pattern" crop circles more impressive than appealing, as if they are trying to convince us of their cleverness and difficulty to execute. Clearly many require multiple "passes" (assuming gravity itself is not upended). They really force us to ask: are we drawn to these because the are beautiful or, rather, because they are mysterious. Dare we ask for both?

Here is another beauty!
