Apart from waiting for the weather to paly ball (again) to go and photograph the feline formation
at Figsbury Ring, we had to negotiate the danger zone which is very close to Porton Down, the most sensitive and secret experimental site in the UK. _http://www.dark-places.org.uk/site/dstl-porton-down/
We had to get permission to fly into the area, and were told that we must not in any way fly into the zone which is marked by the tree line just below the hill fort. In fact the hill fort at Figsbury Ring has the danger zone going right through the middle of the ring.
This crop circle at
Figsbury Ring, Wiltshire is thought to represent the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. Sekhmet is a warrior goddess as well as goddess of healing. She is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to the Egyptians. It was said that her breath formed the desert. She was seen as the protector of the pharaohs and led them in warfare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sekhmet _http://www.ancientegyptonline.co.uk/sekhmet.html
The formation itself is well constructed, and is
very large at about 400ft, and is in wheat.
