A question about the utility and dangers of using tuning forks for healing purposes

I have been listening the Eileen Day McKusick Eileen Day McKusick and also reading on her website Subscribe to Our Newsletter & Receive Free Bonus! - Biofield Tuning - Eileen McKusick and have read her book https://www.amazon.ca/Tuning-Human-Biofield-Healing-Vibrational/dp/1620552469
The theory she expounds is that we are surrounded by human biofields, which have an intimate connection with our mental/emotional/spiritual and physical life. This is my simplistic exposition, but she claims that the biofields furthest away from us are out earliest experiences, and those closest to us are our most recent experiences, sort of like tree rings. The idea of using tuning fork/s is that when one comes across a change/dissonance one holds the vibrating fork there until it clears, and then continues moving in towards the body, healing as we go. Healing appears to have happened, even down to the pre-verbal level (eg. outer edge of the biofield). This seems a possible healing modality similar in some ways to the NO sessions. This seems interesting, perhaps as a complementary method to the NO sessions, or a replacement for those who can not afford the NO sessions. But I wanted to ask the C's if there were any potential dangers to using tuning forks, or any advice at all with regard to them. thanks you

What is a NO session?
Hi Sybill, these shortened codes give me a brain cramp sometimes when reading posts, and sometimes using the search isn’t fruitful, especially like this one.

The “NO” abbreviation is for a machine called a NeurOptimal that was, possibly still is, being used by several forum members.
Here is a description from one of the vendor sites:
The NeurOptimal® system gathers electrical input from the brain, and the system is able to reflect this information back to the brain much like a mirror reflects your image back to you. It does not do anything active to the brain. This reflection is achieved by using a musical stream which briefly becomes interrupted when unhealthy electrical activity is detected. The brain is able to recognize the interruption in the audible recording and attempts to rid the brain of the errant or misguided electrical activity. This happens in millisecond encounters multiple times each second. It also happens in multiple parts of the brain. So, it in essence trains the brain by alerting it on anything it is doing that is not healthy. It is up to the brain to adjust and become a more healthy organ. It also is telling the brain what it is doing correctly. The brain has an inherent desire to be more organized and perfect. It just needs to learn what it is doing that is not healthy. This sensing of electrical activity/waves and the reflection back through audible music/interruptions is only achievable with the creative training software developed by Zengar.

I would think it's an ok tool to use, if you are using it properly, but it pales in comparison to research, experimentation, and networking. I've tinkered around with tuning forks and I find it difficult to get straight answers(it's not that easy to use), but if you do know how to use it then why not(as long as you remember that it's just one tool in the belt). I would think this is the for many intuitive method/senses, they can be useful if done properly and can be great for experimentation and further learning.

Q: If the flood of Noah, as you have said before, occurred 10,662 BC, that means that the Pyramid and Stonehenge were built more than 2,000 years after this event.

A: Yes.

Q: Did it take 2,000 years for them to develop or create the technology?

A: No.

Q: What were they doing in those 2,000 years?

A: Reassembling.

Q: In that 2,000 years of reassembling, do you mean reassembling as a group through reincarnative processes...

A: All. Built using sound wave technology.

Q: When you say that it was built using sound wave technology, were these sound waves produced by human voices or by instruments or mechanical devices of some sort?

A: Mostly latter.

Q: What kind of a device would this be? What would you call it?

A: Something like tuning fork.

Q: It would be something that could be struck and would produce a sound that could then be directed in some way?

A: A sound enhancing collector/focuser.

Q: Can we build such a thing?

A: Must be like a two-way antenna; solidly brass or bronze.

Im interested in using these, but they are made from aluminum the sets I see at amazon.
Is anyone an expert using these?

I have a set, bought the book linked below from Amazon. I'd watched one of her videos, and when she struck the first note, it must have triggered something cause I started to cry.

I found someone local who does sound healing and finally had a tuning fork session done a few months ago. Maybe because of my initial reaction I had expectations, but i didn't feel anything during or afterwards. Of course, she said it can take multiple sessions before you can clear things. Maybe it's true, but the sessions are too expensive for me right now to find out.

Thx for the reply Mrs Peel!
There are also a wide range or frequencies, and some sets are adjustable and others are not...id rather not make a lot of mistakes learning this. I always read the bad reviews, theres so few items for sale that have 0 1 star reviews so I will still buy if there complaint is something simple like packaging or delivery. Theres a lot of scammers on Amazon too...they show one nicely made thing, then send you some Chinese garbage equivalent.
Anyone else here use tuning forks??

I read that book last year and ordered a set of tuning forks off amazon .. played with the for a few months and didn’t really notice a huge difference. I have both kinds of fork with feet for putting on the body and the ones you just strike in the air.

I think the quality of fork matters and Mckusick has some for sale that are a high quality. Problem for me is the cost of sending them to Australia is ridiculous so I never bothered, but if you’re I the states it might be worth investing in your own quality forks as it will be more cost effective than going to a practitioner. Having said that Mckusick says that you can do sessions over zoom with the same effect so that might be worth looking into to as well as it may be cheaper.

There are a few mentions of tuning forks in the sessions fwiw

Q: (Artemis) Speaking of healing therapies, I recently came across tuning fork sound therapy. Have you ever heard of that?

(Chu) Yeah.

(Artemis) Have you ever tried it before?

(Pierre) Yes.

(Artemis) You have? And?

(Joe) It was noisy.

(L) Nothing to write home about.

(Artemis) I wanted to ask them because I saw some videos about this woman who was doing it and they were actually having a lot of energetic releases. So I wanted to know if it's something we could do here to help us with anything. Is there anything good about it?

A: Gently helpful mainly at the emotional level.
