One possibility is that they were inspired by the movie "Paranormal Activity". Not very original.

Also. . , as I understood things, in many cases of abduction, people don't actually vanish from our 3D frame of reference. Also, in the past, electronics have a habit of failing with surprising accuracy and facility. Why not this time?

That's true, that's what I was thinking and I tought before to see the video that I was going to see some lights outside the window and some hohoho from santa claus, but nope, or some kind of creature next to the woman.

Good argument. There is other video from this guy, don't know where he takes all this but could be easily done by a computer cgi or whatever.

I questioned that myself yesterday, but at the beginning of the video there comes the story that strange things happened (believed that one person got abducted) and they like to get it on camera.
