Just wanted to recommend the following show in case there are people who haven't seen it. Actually, I read the books, but started watching the series only recently after being highly recommended to do it. And this show is indeed really great on many levels!
And not only because Alf Wight (James Herriot) was an integral part of the production and made sure that all the cases from his books and the attitude (especially the veterinary practice involved) would be done in an exact and professional way (you can even see calving and rectal examinations on the screen, yep). But also because this series is full of various examples of external consideration and how to handle difficult or impossible people.
It also shows personal integrity and kindness of the characters, so it surely not surprising that it was super popular at the time, and also acted as an inspiration for many aspiring veterinarians. Beside that, it is full of cute animals, and is also very funny. In my opinion, a good example of positive dissociation.
And just a note, that I was able to find full series on YT, but not sure if it is legal. On the other hand, it doesn't look illegal, and they are not being removed. But just in case, I am surely not going to put the link here. ;)

All Creatures Great and Small
All Creatures Great and Small is a British television series based on the books of the British veterinary surgeon Alf Wight, who wrote under the pseudonym James Herriot. In 1977, the BBC tasked producer Bill Sellars with the creation of a television series from Herriot's first two novels, If Only They Could Talk and It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet, using the title of the 1975 film adaptation.
